This cozy 4BR home is perfect for families, hunters, or weekend getaways. Right in Waukon. Walkable to golf course and clinic. Downtown is a 5-10 min walk, or short drive. Great for weddings and event groups. You’ll find a charming, clean home with space to relax. Fitting 8 comfortably. (4 queen beds + couches. There is a brand new kitchen and appliances in 2025. New carpet, windows. It has original hardwood floors- it is a charismatic home with many improvements. It still has its’ quirks, and it’s cozy, clean and perfect for families or wedding parties. 4 Bedrooms with 1.5 bath. Guests like the ceiling fans in each bedroom. Toys: on the porch, we have a collection of toys that kids are welcome to use. Large backyard. Private parking in driveway will fit 2 cars. Side street parking available too. All bedrooms on second floor. No smoking inside home. Coffee maker, espresso machine, coffee, basic amenities. 2 Pack and plays, and high chair available. 4 queen beds plus couches for sleeping. Guest access Cleaning closet is not for guest access Basement is available if needed (for emergency, etc. but unfinished and not for guests otherwise) Can use garage upon request There is a fireplace in the living room but it is NOT a working fireplace. For safety and insurance purposes- do not use. Other things to note If bringing a pet, we ask you keep them in a kennel overnight. Try to keep off furniture or excessively on carpet upstairs (downstairs is all hardwood). Feel free to use backyard to exercise, but clean up after them! **there is a $25 per stay pet fee. If you put that information in your checkout details- it will automatically be added to your invoice with Airbnb. If it is not, we will ask for that $25 through Airbnb. Farm-Fresh Add-Ons Guests have the option to purchase farm-fresh eggs, dry-aged beef, and homemade freezer meals during their stay. These are sourced from our farm and licensed kitchen. We keep a small stash in the freezer at the bnb, and payment options are listed on the fridge. The golf course is just a short walk (in backyard) and clinic is 1 block. Downtown is about a 5 -10 minute walk. This is a peaceful, safe, neighborhood. Close to Pavilion at Allamakee Co Fairgrounds and just a short 5 minute drive to White Haus Social— consider our space for wedding lodging! This home was built in the early 1900s. My husband and I purchased a few years ago and completely renovated the kitchen, bathrooms, added new windows and carpets—it’s very cozy and charming! Fall ladybugs: while we do have the space sprayed monthly- in the fall, ladybugs and boxelders try their hardest to come in. We vacuum after every stay, but do expect a small amount of lady bugs make an appearance by windows (and in the enclosed porch). It’s never been an issue for guests, and if you’re from a rural area- you likely understand! However I wanted to mention it. Coffee: we do supply coffee from our local coffee shop. We also added an espresso machine and leave the instructions next to it. We do have espresso coffee grounds stored in freezer. ** we do occasionally have customers from our meal business pulling into the driveway to grab orders from the detached garage on the property. We will send a message if we plan to have customers stopping during your stay.
