Our cabin is a perfect family-friendly destination, but it can also be an amazing fit for a honeymoon couple or gathering with friends. We’d like to thank you for your business which helps to keep our ohana fed. Nestled in 2 acres of the Hawai’i tropical forest, surrounded by many varieties of orchids, local flowers, fruit trees, palm trees and Ohias. The Blue Jungle Cabin is a perfect opportunity for you to retreat and experience the real jungle life in Hawai’i as our cabin is located on an unpaved road (AWD or 4x4 are not required). This is our home, where we live and we rent whenever we are out of the island. There are a lot of organic fruit trees that you’re welcome to grab it to try (if it’s ready to be picked) the real taste of Hawaiian fruits. *Please keep in mind that this is our home, be respectful and leave enough for us and the next guests, mahalo nui loa!* Since our cabin is located on an elevation it can be chilly at night (around 65F some times). Upstairs: The cabin offers an open concept living and kitchen space. It includes a kitchen that is just the right size for preparing a family meal, microwave, toaster, sandwich maker, airfryer, blender and even a baking mixer. The living room has a L-shaped couch and a futon that can be used as a full size mattress, a big ceiling fan, there is a 55 inch 4K TV with speakers for your family movie night fun or just to play your favorite music. The bathroom has river rocks floors which provides an incredible feeling for your feet as you will be showering watching our backyard jungle through a huge window and is stocked with plush towels. The master bedroom has a king size bed, ceiling fan and a wardrobe for your convenience. Second bedroom has a queen size bed and a fan. We have an extra foldable foam full size mattress that can be used too (it’s very comfortable). You will have all the comforts of a home. On the balcony there is a breathtaking view to the jungle and it provides a tree house feeling as it is located 40’ above the ground, you can enjoy your morning coffee listening the birds and meditating on a yoga mattress that we provide located on the balcony. There is also a 3 seating couch plus a chair for you to gather with your family. Downstairs: is located our studio where we will be using as a storage for our personal belongings. **No access to the downstairs unit will be allowed. ** There is parking space for three cars. There is an outdoor shower with hot water if you want and plenty of hoses around the property. Please take a walk to experience the jungle vibes, to visit our private botanical garden, grab a fruit and be happy! This property is ideal for a family of up to 6 or a group of friends. It is a place for wonderful memories to be made. You will want to return to our Volcano Jungle Cabin every time you visit the Big Island. Get a feel of being a true local in the country, while being conveniently located 15 minutes from eccentric Pahoa Town, 20 minutes away from historic Hilo Town, and 40 minutes from Volcano where Pele makes her Lava-luscious appearance.
