The Ohana is a perfect location for individuals or couples in search of a Tranquil and Upscale environment. Close enough to be lulled to sleep when the surf is up yet tucked away from the bustle of Alli'i Drive. The Ohana boasts cool evening mountain breezes in your outdoor seating area as well as Air Conditioning and Fans inside for the perfect nights sleep after a day of exploring all Hawai'i Island has to offer! This apartment is located in a quiet residential neighborhood just a short walk to Magic Sands Beach on renowned Ali'i drive. This exceptionally clean and nicely appointed upscale apartment is located on the ground floor. You will enjoy the separate entrance and outdoor patio space with seating. La’aloa Hale boasts a spacious 600 square feet of open living space with Air Conditioning. It is tastefully furnished including all cotton linens on a new comfy queen bed, large walk-in closet, comfortable love seat, tropical dining area and kitchenette. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, infrared 2 burner cooktop, counter top oven and microwave for cooking. There is also a coffee maker and fresh coffee to get you started! Please note: the full size refrigerator, cooktop and oven are not pictured. Updated photos are coming soon! The bathroom boasts a deep tub with shower and double sinks. Please note: the tub jets are currently not working. You will be a Short Walk from the ever popular Magic Sands Beach - also known as White Sands Beach and by the traditional Hawaiian name of La'aloa Beach which means “Very Sacred”. The Kanaka Maoli (ancient Hawaiians) were very much in touch with the natural energy of the earth and were well aware of the special nature of this area. Perhaps the dolphins and whales who still spend time playing in the waters just off the shore of Magic Sands Beach shared secrets with them. Regardless, it is the area where the Ali'i (Hawaiian Royalty) chose to make their homes, hence the name Ali'i Drive. We are particularly lucky to have the remains of an ancient rock path running through our backyard. It was a well used way to travel from the ocean to the fertile farmlands up mauka (up the mountain). If you are lucky you might even see a Night Marcher! (ghost of an ancient Hawaiian warrior) Guest access The whole apartment is yours! Free parking is available on the street directly in front of the house.
