Guests are independent but we are happy to provide information and directions about the attractions of the island. You will need a rental car to get around. The center of Kailua Kona is 3 minutes away. Volcanos National Park is 90 miles from Kailua Kona. Hilo is an hour and a half drive from Kona, you can take Saddle road for the shortest distance to Hilo.
