Cute 1930s era bungalow on a large, historic, landscaped property. Centrally located in an upslope country Kona setting, minutes drive from convenient amenities, restaurants, close to easy access beaches, grocery and farmers markets. A lovely spot to settle into after a great day out and about on the west side of our Hawaii island! TA-193-208-5248-01 and GE-193-208-5248-01 Close to conveniences the cottage is situated in the cool upper elevation of Kona on a two acre landscaped yard. With its private lanai and terrace to sit outside on and dine by candle light, you will feel at home under the bananas and mango tree. Hibachi BBQ for your convenience. Take chairs and table to any area of the yard to enjoy the sunset twilight hour or star-lit open skies of the night. Park in the cottage's dedicated attached carport where you have access to body boards, beach chairs, cooler, snorkel gear, and a washer and dryer. Owner Lisa lives on property and is available to help with any questions. Holualoa is a rural community and historic town of art galleries, a general store, and a USPS office, yet fifteen minutes from the busy populace of Kailua-Kona or Keauhou where you have broader options of shopping, dining, banking, beach activities, spa, and hotel accommodations, boat tours, and more. A car is a must in Kona. The Island of Hawaii is breath-taking. You will want to see it all! Hawaii General Excise and Transient Accommodation tax is charged to the renter by Airbnb seen as a Resort Fee on the breakdown of charges. Far-off neighbors have dogs in kennels and roosters that crow in the morning hours. We also have coqui frogs on the property that some guests find pleasing and soothing. Others find them to be loud. **Please consider NOT purchasing single-use water bottles. Our rain fed aquifer lens-sourced Hawaii county water is treated, safe to drink, and refreshing! Please consider bringing your beverage flasks and using them while visiting the island! We all need to use less plastic and leave less plastic behind! TA-193-208-5248-01 GE-193-208-5248-01
