Located on a peaceful, gated three-acre property just a couple miles off Volcano Road (Highway 11), our serene retreat offers the perfect balance of nature, privacy, and modern comforts. A car is recommended to explore the area with ease. Inside, the yurt features an open-concept living and sleeping area with a cozy queen bed and a queen sofa bed, comfortably sleeping up to 4 guests. The private, fully enclosed bathroom includes a relaxing hot shower powered by an eco-friendly on-demand propane water heater. The well-equipped kitchenette is perfect for preparing meals, with an apartment-sized fridge/freezer, induction hot plate, microwave, and air fryer. Prefer dining out? Volcano Village and its fantastic restaurants are just a short 20-minute drive away. Enjoy the temperate climate—no need for air conditioning! The yurt stays comfortable year-round, averaging temperatures between the mid-50s and mid-70s. A ceiling fan and an openable dome offer natural air circulation when needed. Step out onto the spacious lanai and soak in the sounds of nature—coqui frogs serenade you at night, and you might catch glimpses of wild pigs, goats, or chickens nearby (though they rarely enter the gated property). Stay connected with lightning-fast fiber-optic internet, ideal for remote work or streaming. The main house is tucked away approximately 200 meters behind the yurt, offering privacy with the added benefit of having your hosts nearby if needed. Need help settling in? Guest access Guests will be provided with a remote to access the gate, and the yurt can be accessed by a digital lock. Other things to note There is a security camera facing the gate, as well as several around the main home. There are no cameras around the yurt.
