Our home is located on the slopes of Hualalai in the cool elevation of 1000 feet. The gardens are lush and the views are breathtaking. Very private. This property is an amazing old coffee plantation from the 50's on 11 acres of tropical land with 180 degree breathtaking ocean views. You will be renting one of three houses on this property. The main house which you will have has one bedroom, which sleeps 2, with an additional queen sized sofa bed in the living room. There is one bathroom in the main house, a full kitchen, dining room and an amazing porch to enjoy the view. The second house is my home. It is located on the South end of the main house. The caretaker lives in the third home on the property. You will always have a sense of peace and privacy. This property is located 1,000ft up on on the slopes of Hualalai about 10 min south of Kailua-Kona. We are about one and a half miles from the artist town of Holualoa, which has art galleries, restaurants and shops. Also in this neighborhood are multiple coffee plantations often with free tours and coffee tastings. There are many beaches and snorkeling areas to explore within 20 min from the house while you still have all the conveniences of being close to the shops, grocery stores, restaurants and night life of Kailua-Kona! If you are looking for a resort style vacation, this is not the place for you. Our home is quiet, secluded and peaceful. Although we have all the amenities, one must remember that it is an older home. It has gorgeous views and a lovely lanai that looks out on spectacular sunsets. There are nature sounds at night that may keep you awake so we recommend using white noise on your phone if you have trouble sleeping. This is the perfect place to get away from it all! Guests have access to all the grounds surrounding the house.
