The space This unique property offers quiet woods and meadows hosting an abundance of birds and wildlife. Relax on the porch rocking chairs or under the pergola at the al fresco kitchen garden table. The bedrooms are comfy and inviting. The living room has a wood burning fireplace with firewood included, and a writing desk awaits in the reading area. The large kitchen is completely equipped if you choose to dine in, but there are many outstanding restaurants within a 5 mile radius. Guest access The house and the entire 17 acres of gardens and woods are available to explore. Stairs lead to the second floor with three bedrooms and a small reading area. We provide a welcome breakfast package including a bundle of firewood. Additional products can be purchased separately, such as fresh eggs (seasonal and priced fairly). Dogs are welcome, and a day care service can be provided by an adjoining home. This house was built during the Revolutionary War, so some floorboards may be uneven or have splinters or nailheads. Please wear shoes at all times. Not recommended for children under age 10.
