Originally the basement and first floor was a car garage and the second floor was a dance hall. Enjoy this historic space with 18' high ceilings, the original wood floors, and historic charm mixed with brand new finishings. I've spent the last 5 years working on refinishing this space and saving this historic building from collapse. Now that it is complete, I'd love to share it with you during your time in Decorah. The apartment is a one bedroom but is plenty spacious and has room for an air mattress. Guest access The stairwell and hallway upstairs is shared with 3 other apartments. The stairwell is keyed, I will meet you to get you a key. Your apartment is completely yours and has a keypad for entry. Other things to note This unit is on the second floor of a historic building. It's about 25 steps to get upstairs. Once you are in the apartment everything is on one level.
