The space Welcome to Tropical Orchard Retreat, a charming Hawaiian family-sized retreat nestled on a lush fruit farm with breathtaking ocean views. Wake up to the gentle breeze of the Pacific and the soothing sounds of tropical birds and coquí frogs, all while surrounded by exotic fruit trees. A complimentary fresh fruit basket will be provided straight from the farm with fruits that are currently in season. The spacious home, over 3,800 sqft, features bright, airy interiors with island-inspired decor, offering a cozy sanctuary to unwind after a day of exploring. Enjoy the stunning sunrise and/or sunset over the ocean on the patio/balcony. The property has a private entrance with plenty of room for parking. On the main floor there is a bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom just outside the room. There is a spacious living room, breakfast room, kitchen, laundry room, 2nd bathroom and dining room. The extended patio is right outside the living room equipped with a new bbq grill outside. Kitchen has two sinks, dishwasher, dual range stove with four burners and a griddle, full size fridge, toaster and coffee maker w/ coffee pods. Upstairs there is the master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with a large soaking tub and separate shower. The game room is right outside the master suite and two bedrooms are down a short hallway that share a full bath. Enjoy the island breeze outside on the balcony and unwind on comfortable lounge furniture, accessible from the game room and master suite. Sleeping Accommodations - Total beds for up to 8 guests (All beds are brand new- bought in 2025): Master Suite - Queen size bed Bedroom 1 - Queen size bed Bedroom 2 - Queen size bed Bedroom 3 - Two double size beds Keep in mind the house does not have air conditioning however, numerous fans are located all around the house. Screened windows and doors allow gentle Pacific breezes to pass through the house. Outside on our farm you will see fruit trees in our garden that include the following: Longan, Lychee, Mango, Rambutan, Star Apple, Abiu, Durian, Jack Fruit, Sour Sop, Pomelo, Orange, Avocado, Coconut Palms, Apple Banana, Guava, Papaya. Attractions less than 15 min away are The Hawai‘i Tropical Botanical Garden and Akaka Falls State Park- two beautiful must see attractions. Also, just down the road is the a cute little town, Honomu, there you'll find our favorite coffee shop, The Hive! We are located about 20 minutes from Hilo where you find an amazing farmer's market and local restaurants and shops. Guest access You will have full private access to the main house. On the back section of the 11 acres property is a caretaker's house, who will offer you privacy but will be available to assist with anything you might need.
