Destination Kona

Our beautiful one bedroom/bath, one story town home is set up for two people wishing to have a peaceful and convenient location to start and end each day in paradise. Located in the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club with parking directly in front of the unit. It’s an end unit WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING. Fans and the ocean breeze are typically enough to bring the feel of Hawaii inside so you can fully experience the sounds and smells of this beautiful setting. The space Our home situated a short stroll from the shoreline, where occasionally Honu (green sea turtle) and less often, Monk seals can be seen. It’s truly a great place to bring one of the provided beach chairs to enjoy the long Kona sunsets and a beverage. Inside you will find a clean, well-stocked, peaceful living area, with a beautiful grassy area just beyond the lanai (patio) and alongside the unit. A new queen bed, full size dresser, large nightstand, chair, and closet fill out the bedroom. The main living area enjoys a Visio 42” led smart TV, Apple TV a large stack of DVD movies, a Lazy Boy dual recliner, a mini bar with cocktail shaker and ice bucket, a tall dining table, and book shelves with books to read during your stay. Fully stocked kitchen. Provided are two snorkel kits, a boogie board, and beach umbrella. If using another’s gear is not your thing, you can rent gear just down the street by the snorkel beach. Saturday brings one of the best Farmer’s Markets in Kona. For locally grown fruits and vegetables, this is the place to go. Get there at 8am for the best selection at the Keauhou Shopping Center. Some of the best snorkeling on the island (opens at 6am) is less than a 5-minute walk away. Grab the supplied snorkel gear and spend the morning snorkeling. Swimming pool and four tennis courts have recently been refinished and are mere steps from the unit. The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club’s grounds are some of the nicest on the entire island.
