YOU WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING THIS. We are offering a one bedroom townhouse with central air conditioning. There is no one living above or below you. The kitchen has just been renovated and you will find all new appliances. We hav also just updated the bathroom. There is a private lanai adjoining the living room with lush foliage backing it up. You will find most everything you should need already here, including 2 boogie boards, 2 surf boards if you wish to use them. The tennis club has just recently added (4) pickle ball courts which have become very popular with guests. There are also beach chairs, towels and a cooler here for your use as well. The bedroom has a queen bed and there is a large sofa. The swimming pool and tennis courts have both just undergone major renovations and are a few steps away. You will also find a beautiful semi private beach with tide pools adjoining the grounds that is just steps away from Jack's place. This little cove is known to attract turtles and the endangered monk seals at certain times of the year. If you walk north up the beach there are ancient Hawaiian ruins that can be viewed. I think you will find the grounds of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club to be one of the most beautiful and well kept of any in the area. There are also several barbecue areas with seating at different locations on the grounds. This is truly paradise! One year ago we added central air conditioning for the comfort of our guests. This was a great cost to us and we hope you will use it wisely and conservatively. When you will be away, please adjust the temperature to compensate. This will help us keep our unit prices low. You will have free access to the pool, tennis courts, volleyball and barbecue areas. Keys will be provided in the unit. There is one parking space provided in front of the townhouse and guest parking in other locations. The tennis facilities have just added (4) pickle ball courts which have become very popular. Bob and I are available to answer any questions you have, but will honor your privacy otherwise. Our property manager, Leslie will also be available and her number will be provided along with other information when you arrive. Bob and I love the quietness and feeling of seclusion that Jack's place offers, yet in less than a half mile is a large shopping center with grocery shopping, Longs drugstore, restaurants, movie theaters, a bookstore and other various shopping. Kailua Village is just a few miles away and is a scenic drive along the coastline. Small coffee villages are a short drive up mauka (mountain) and there are several good restaurants, art stores and shopping places to be found. You get the small town country feel when you visit up mauka. A short walk from Jack's Place is the Kahalu'u Beach Park, known to be one of the best snorkeling beaches on the island and White Sands Beach is just a couple miles north. It is one of the few white sand beaches to be found in our area. As I've mentioned previous, we have our own semi private beach where Hawaiian Monk Seals and green sea turtles can be seen at certain times of the year. This little paradise is just steps from Jack's place and very easy to access. It's the best for watching the sunset! Most people rent cars, as distances can be great from one place to another. This is truly a Big island! We do have a trolley service that runs up and down Alii Drive daily from Kailua town to Keauhou Shopping Center. It runs from 9:00am to 9:15 pm and the cost is $2.00. This is an air conditioned townhouse with with wall units in the bedroom and living room that provide superior cooling.
