Note: All 2026 rentals are Sat-Sat 7 nights. Incredibly located a block from the Boatslip and Commercial Street! Sleeps up to twelve (12) people in six (6) comfortable bedrooms. Built c. 1850, the house has original charm, beautiful styling, fascinating artwork and decor, and thoughtful updates. Full kitchen, dishwasher, laundry, grill & outdoor dining, bike rack, amazing outdoor shower. Window AC throughout. Tandem parking for two cars. Luxury bath & beach towels and comfortable linens. The space Central House has six bedrooms and was built circa 1850. It’s a former boarding house, so the house is quirky, storied, and fascinating. Inside, it feels comfortable, whimsical, and stylish. It’s a bright and comfortable gathering space, both inside and out. The home has a complete kitchen (including new dishwasher, AllClad and cast-iron cookware, twelve table settings, etc.), a laundry room with washer/dryer, two full bathrooms, a fantastic outdoor shower with great shower pressure, a spacious living room with comfy LoveSac sectional, and a dining room with a desk for working (as needed). Outside, there’s a cozy front patio with seating, and a spacious backyard garden with outdoor dining for twelve or more (think fruit trees, roses, and succulents). In addition to a large dining table, the garden has a large, underlit umbrella, chairs, and a Weber grill. The house has excellent high-speed wifi and Roku. Guests may park up to two cars in tandem parking on the property. For large vehicles (like big trucks), only one vehicle may fit. For additional cars, there is paid town parking within a walkable distance. The house is in an absolutely amazing location (see the reviews); it’s walkable from the ferry terminal, and it’s a cab ride away from the airport. It’s one block from the beach, Tea Dance, Commercial St., and the central coffee shop. If you bring or rent bicycles, the property has a bike rack. But many groups don't even bother renting bikes because the location is, in a word, perfection. Guest access There are three structures on the property: the main house, a cottage, and a shack. You will have complete and exclusive access to the main house. The cottage is a separate rental. Outdoor spaces on the property are not exclusive use; they are shared. The owner/on-site manager lives in the shack and makes minimum use of the property during stays. Other things to note There is no smoking of any kind anywhere on the property. See also House Rules.
