Swim, kayak or paddle board from the private beach, and enjoy drinks overlooking the ocean from the front deck. Use our grill to prepare an easy dinner and enjoy s’mores for dessert around the large custom fire pit. Your amazing vacation awaits! The space Enjoy plenty of space for family and friends with five bedrooms plus additional sleeping space via a trundle bed on the sleeping porch. Ample shared space with large eat-in kitchen, dining room/office, sun room, and extra large family room with ocean views. Nearly an acre of outside space includes a large front deck overlooking the water that's perfect for enjoying a cool summer drink and a custom fire pit area with plenty of space for your whole group to roast marshmallows or hot dogs or just enjoy a view of the stars. High-speed wifi throughout with TV's in the living room and bedrooms or reduce the screen time and enjoy low-tech fun with our selection of games or books. Two large communal tables, each seating six to eight, make it easy to gather together for cards, dominos or board games. This is our personal home that has been recently renovated, including all new furniture, fixtures, and appliances. Our goal is for you to enjoy your amazing beach vacation as much as we enjoy ours. Amenities include beach chairs, towels, and umbrella along with an outdoor shower for easy clean up after beach adventures. Outdoor chairs are available to hang out on the front deck overlooks the water or around the fire pit. Kayaks and paddle boards are not part of the rental, but contact us and we're happy to let you use ours free of charge. Enjoy the private community beach at the foot of the property or use our parking pass for the larger resident's only beach a short drive away. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the cooking and serving utensils you'll need to enjoy meals with family, friends, and guests or use the gas grill to prepare an easy summer meal. The scullery off the kitchen hosts a new high-capacity washer and dryer, perfect for a quick load of laundry. Our home is located in a private community in the village of Buzzard’s Bay in the Upper Cape and is minutes away from the shops and restaurants of Bourne’s downtown and the bike, walking and nature trails along the canal. You can enjoy all the best of what the Cape has to offer and start making memories while others are still waiting in traffic to cross the bridge. Want to visit nearby Falmouth or further down the Cape? No problem, you can time your departure from your home base to avoid traffic and be over the bridge in minutes. Guest access You'll have the entire property to yourself, including nearly an acre of grounds and access to the private beach. Other things to note Air conditioning is available via window and floor units in the main living space on the first floor and for the three large bedrooms on the second floor, or leave the windows open and enjoy the ocean breeze. Note that the fifth bedroom is accessed via the master suite and contains two twin xl beds. Please note that summer reservations are generally available only for full-week bookings with Saturday check-in and check-out unless there is a last-minute opening or cancellation. We love the private beach at the foot of the property and find it perfect for relaxing. If you have kids in your group the gradual incline makes the bay ideal for splashing and swimming along with kayaking or paddle boarding for older kids and kids at heart.
