The space Located in the mountains of Missoula at the end of a cul-de-sac, this quiet oasis borders wilderness area (protected by an environmental easement) where you're likely to see local wildlife, such as birds (the "Meadowlark," after which the property is named, is Montana's state bird and can be heard singing throughout the day), deer, elk, raccoons, and maybe even a black bear. Please note that access to the main level requires the use of stairs, but with access to the double garage, you can avoid climbing the exterior stairs. Plus, the view from the living room is well worth the ascent! All bedrooms except one are on the main/upper level, with one bedroom & bathroom, as well as laundry services, downstairs. The Master has a queen bed, its own bathroom, tons of closet space, and private deck access. The other rooms have side-by-side twin beds, a pull-out trundle (with 2 twins), and a queen bed (downstairs). Smart TVs are located in the main living area, the master bedroom, and the basement bedroom. If you need more sleeping space, there are 2 additional tri-fold foam mattresses (4 inches thick) for use in the living room or one of the bedrooms. Please make sure your reservation matches the number of guests in your party. Guests in excess of 10 will require an additional charge of $20/per person/per day. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house with the main entrance being on the top floor. Both garage entrance and front door are protected by deadbolt lock with the same unique key code (which you'll receive before your arrival). The house has a spacious double garage on the lower level for parking, which offers the most convenient entrance to the house. Upon arrival, you will find a welcome manual we created with some helpful tips for enjoying your stay in Missoula. Upon booking, a digital copy of the manual will be included in your welcome email so you can start planning your visit. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This is a pet-free, non-smoking home (with the exception of certified service animals). Please also note that while the house sleeps 10, the kitchen has limited seating with a table for 8. Other things to note This property requires the use of stairs, but entrance through the garage offers the most convenient access to the house.
