Bring the family together or gather your friends at this cozy 5-bedroom bunkhouse that feels like your grandparents’ cabin on the river! With space for 10, a seasonal pool and dock, kayaks, and a wood-burning fireplace, outdoor fire pit, it’s made for holidays, hunting trips, and summer fun on the Mississippi. The space 🏡 About this space Welcome to Boots & Boats Bunkhouse on the Mississippi, a cozy 5-bedroom, 2-bath home that sleeps up to 10 guests. This older riverfront home isn’t fancy — it feels more like your grandparents’ cabin — but it’s full of character, charm, and space for family and friends to gather. 🛏 Bedrooms Each room has its own personality: 🌅 Sunroom Bedroom — Queen bed with six windows showing off unobstructed river views and a sliding door to the backyard. Includes a sofa and recliner. 🛋 Second Bedroom — Queen bed, TV, and sliding door that looks toward the river through the sunroom. 🚂 The Train Room — Small and cozy with a queen bed facing the pool. You may hear trains roll by now and then — part of the authentic riverfront setting. 🤠 Cowboy Room — King bed with a fun western theme and in-room vanity. 👯 Two Twin River View Room — Two twin beds with wide windows that capture the Mississippi sunrise. 🚿 Bathrooms 🧼 Smaller Bath — Stand-up shower, sink, and toilet. 🪞 Larger Bath — Oversized vanity with plenty of counter space, plus a tub/shower combo and toilet. 🍳 Kitchen & Dining Open kitchen with river views, an extendable dining table for 8, and an island with seating for 3. Perfect for shared meals and conversation. 🛋 Living Room Spacious and inviting with a large sofa, two recliners, two ceiling fans, TV, and a wood-burning fireplace — plus big windows to soak in the river views. Other things to note ℹ️ Other Things to Note Seasonal Amenities: The boat dock and outdoor pool are available seasonally, typically May through October, depending on weather. The Train Room: One of the bedrooms is affectionately called the Train Room. Trains occasionally pass nearby — some guests enjoy it as part of the authentic riverfront setting, but light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. Older Home with Character: This is not a brand-new or luxury home. It’s an older property with the charm of your grandparents’ cabin — warm, welcoming, and built for gathering, not perfection. Wildlife & Nature: Being right on the Mississippi, you may spot bald eagles, geese, and other wildlife — even a deer or two strolling across the backyard.
