To make sure everyone has a great experience, here are some guidelines for you and your furry friend to follow: Certification: • Age: Dogs must be at least one year old. • Spayed/Neutered: All dogs should be spayed or neutered. • Behavior: Your dog should be calm and obedient both on and off leash. • No Problematic Behaviors: Dogs must be free from excessive barking, howling, chewing, or scratching near doors and windows. Jumping and hyperactivity are also no-go’s. • Non-Aggressive: Dogs with any history of aggression toward people or other animals should not be brought to the property. • House Trained: Your pup should know how to behave indoors. For outdoor males, please encourage marking only on trees to avoid staining or odors on structures. • Health Recommendations: Flea/tick prevention and heartworm medication are highly recommended to keep your dog safe and healthy. House Rules: 1. Furniture: No dogs on furniture unless protective sheets are used (we’re happy to provide them). 2. Leashing: Always leash your dog outside to protect neighbors, wildlife, and other dogs. Even the most well-behaved pup might be tempted to chase a deer or fox, which could lead to trouble. 3. Crating: Please crate your dog if they’re left alone indoors. Bring your own or plan to purchase one upon arrival. 4. Cleanliness: o Wipe off wet or muddy paws before coming inside. o Use a towel to dry your dog after swimming. o Pick up dog waste, securely bag it, and place it in one of the designated covered bins outside or in the garage.
