This room on 1st floor is a short 25-35 minute drive to Downtown Boston (public transportation can be about 45 minutes) and only 36 minutes to the Wrentham outlets. You'll love my place because of the close proximity (15 min)to Forest Hills station which will take you right into Downtown Boston. Harvard University (Cambridge) is 7.9 miles away and takes 26 minutes by car and 57 minutes by subway. My place is good for guests who want a place to stay that is outside of the city. Book your stay! The space This room is located in a three family home in a diverse and multicultural neighborhood on a dead end street minutes from public transportation. This room is located on the first floor of the three family home. The Tenants above you have children so there is a potential for noise. It has a queen bed. The bathroom and kitchen is shared with other guests. They are located on the first floor. Closet is in the hallway and shared with the owner. Laundry is in the basement and costs 6.50 to wash and dry one load, you must pay directly four dollars for the washer and need $2.50 in quarters to use the dryer and tandem parking is available except in winter for a fee of $10 per night or 150 for 30 days. There is also a nice porch and a large backyard. Guest access You will have access to a private bedroom in a shared apartment. The bathroom is a shared bathroom with other guests. It is a possibility that you may share the bathroom with up to 3 other people if all the rooms are booked to capacity. All guests are asked to take one shower per day and to limit the shower time to 10 minutes. Please also blow dry your hair and apply makeup etc in your bedroom so the bathroom is free. Your bedroom is on the first floor as well as the bathroom and kitchen. You are welcome to use the kitchen and laundry. During your stay By phone or app. I meet all guests to give them a tour, and I ask that you come in first alone and bring your animal in after. Your animal is welcome here but I will not interact with your animal. Other things to note This room is separated by a door that connects to another bedroom. Sounds may travel easily between the rooms. This is not a place for loud music or any parties. Please do not use the thermostat and never turn the knobs on the radiators. Please put your recyclables in the blue trash barrell and your trash in the smaller black trash barrel outside. All guests are expected to take the trash out and to bring the trash and recycling barrel to and from the curb each week. Driveway parking is available for a fee. The washing machine cost four dollars pay directly and the dryer cost $2.50 in quarters. Thank you. Visitors are not allowed on the premises without permission and additional fee. Monthly cleaning is provided. Please also ensure that the exterior doors are closed and locked at all times. For the safety and security of all guests, the front door must be fully locked each time you enter or leave the house by turning the key until it locks. Parking is not guaranteed and guests are responsible for complying with all local parking rules, including snow removal during winter storms. Winter Notice: During snow season, guests using street parking are responsible for shoveling out their vehicle if needed. Snow removal services do not clear private vehicles or street parking spaces. Air conditioning is provided in the summer months from June 15th- September 15th. If a guest does not follow the house rules, the reservation will be canceled with no refund.
