Custard Hut is only 300 ft away. SOPO Brewing is only two blocks. Can't beat this location! Home is well appointed for 8. The space This custom-built Cape Cod home has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The upstairs houses the third bedroom, extra living space, workspace and the second full bathroom. Downstairs is a very nicely redone two bedroom, one bathroom layout. The amply sized eat-in kitchen seats eight (extra black chairs in living room). The kitchen is also very well equipped with Jenn-Air appliances. The black cabinet houses extra small appliances like a blender, toaster, hand-held mixer, air fryer, and full-size coffee maker. On the counter you'll find an electric kettle and a single-serve hot or iced coffee maker. Coffee and tea provided. The cabinets are stocked with everything you need for meal prep and even baking. There are plenty of empty cabinets and drawers for items you bring or purchase to make your stay feel even more like home. The comfortable living room seats eight, so no guest has to fight over a seat. The 65-inch Samsung Smart TV provides entertainment when you're not busy at the beach, on the bay, in the backyard, or enjoying the restaurants and bars. The bedrooms are all newly furnished with new, luxurious mattresses and super soft sheets for a great night's sleep. There are drawers and/or closet space for your clothes and plenty of space under the beds or in the closets to stow your suitcases out of the way. Bedroom One in the front of the home has a queen bed. There is also extra space if a couple has another guest they need to fit in the room on a twin-size air mattress. Bedroom Two has a queen bed with night stand drawers and a nice size closet with an organizer system. Bedroom Three has two full beds and a super easy pull-out sofa (literally sets up in 10 seconds). It is between twin and full size. The decor is perfect for beach lovers, especially those who enjoy the beauty of Somers Point and Ocean City. The aesthetic is modern as well with refinished or new surfaces, specifically the bathrooms and kitchen. The hosts set a high bar for themselves with the preparation of this house for short-term rentals and they truly hope that their guests enjoy the home as they would their own. This shore house is located in Atlantic County, but is just over bridges from Cape May County, either Ocean City or points south. Guests can enjoy the beaches in Somers Point (bay beach which is literally a straight shot down New Jersey Ave, 0.7 mi), Ocean City, Longport, Margate, Ventnor, and Atlantic City between a five to 25 minute drive respectively. Want to stay a little longer and enjoy more of the shore? Visit charming Victorian Cape May or the many wineries and breweries dotted throughout Cape May County. Strathmere, Sea Isle City, Avalon, and Stone Harbor are also wonderful towns to visit for a day trip or simply a meal. There is especially great shopping in Cape May, Avalon, and Stone Harbor. Even with the coastal towns surrounding Merman Manor—a perfect shore house, you don't need to leave Somers Point for tons of summer fun. If you love leisurely strolls or more sporty walks/runs, you can cruise through Somers Point Historic District or go the distance on the bike/walking path that takes you to cities north or connects you with the bridge to Ocean City (yes, you can walk to Ocean City). Both the bike path and the historic district are accessible a few blocks down New Jersey Ave. Whether you like to sunbathe, fish, or rock the night away, you can do it all at the William Morrow bay beach home to America's Best Outdoor Concert Series! The concerts occur every Friday night throughout the summer season. The Somers Point beach and fishing pier is also just a short walk down New Jersey Ave. Somers Point's music and nightclub scene was made famous in the the movie Eddie and the Cruisers and it continues to please all the crowds. With Ocean City being a dry town (no alcohol), those who want to dine with a drink or enjoy the live entertainment and DJs at the bars drive to Somers Point from all over the region. With a stay at Merman Manor, all you have to do is walk down the street. What street again? You guessed it, New Jersey Avenue. Seriously, this shore house rental near Ocean City, NJ is perfectly located in Somers Point. It is far enough away from the restaurants/bars that you can walk/bike/drive a couple minutes to enjoy them, then come home to a serene setting for a good night's sleep. Also, there is a large yard for family time. And the yard is surrounded mostly by other yards, so there is extensive privacy. The deck boasts a large dining table, also with seating for eight. Giant jenga is available and there is room for playing ball or yard games. Headed to the beach? We provide four beach chairs located in the storage bin next to the deck. There is extra room in the bin if you need to bring more beach chairs or beach toys. Along the south side of the house is the hose and stepping stones leading to the storage bin with steps up to the deck and into the house. Conveniently, there is a laundry closet off the kitchen for easy laundering of beach items, and of course any laundry you need to do during your stay. This house is so comfortable! Though there is only a three-night minimum, we know you'll be happy to stay even longer. Thank you for reading about this fantastic property. There is also off-street parking for one car and lots of street parking in front of the house directly and down the street in front of the fence (please don't park in front of the homes next door).
