This BRAND NEW 2023 "Bambi" Airstream (named "Rosie") is the perfect choice for a visit to Williamstown with a family member or loved one! This charming and well-appointed camper has all the modern amenities one could desire and comes complete with it's own "campsite" and outdoor fire pit. Rosie is nestled within in a dense woodland forest—part of our private 6-acre residential property, located only 2 miles from the dining and shopping hub of downtown Williamstown and Williams College! The space Nestled in the stunning natural beauty of the Berkshires of Massachusetts, this woodland oasis in Williamstown offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Surrounded by rollings hills, and picturesque countryside, this "Bambi" Airstream offers a glamping-lover's paradise—complete with a 1200-gallon goldfish pond and water feature only steps away from the campsite! Despite its cozy interior, the Bambi Airstream packs quite a punch by including a full bathroom, kitchen, dining table and separate sleeping area. Two (2) Adults and 2 Children (or 1 additional Adult) can fit very comfortably in this brand new 22-foot Airstream. Amenities include a full bathroom w/ shower, a microwave, toaster oven, drip coffee maker, SmartTV and Internet service, and a Bluetooth sound system, outdoor gas grill and fire pit with grilling grate. Everything you need for a great stay is included: coffee/tea/creamers, toiletries, linens, towels, hairdryer, iron and ironing board—even wood for the outdoor fire pit! Bambi has heat and air conditioning, and it also comes with an additional eco-friendly 200-watt solar panel system to charge the RV's batteries and provide power while boondocking. She also features a tankless water heater for continuous hot water. Note: A small folding table and 4 portable chairs is also available for your convenience. The Berkshires are home to a vibrant arts and cultural scene, with world-class museums and galleries, and performing arts venues such as MASS MoCA (a 6-mile drive) and Tanglewood (a 26-mile/1-hr drive) where vistors can immerse themselves in a rich tapestry of artistic expression and creativity. Enjoy stunning Mount Greylock views nearby and convenient access to hiking trails, the Clark Art Institute, and Williams College. The area boasts breathtaking natural landscapes characterized by rolling hills, working farms, lush forests, and picturesque valleys, providing a serene retreat for nature lovers seeking tranquility and rejuvenation. With an abundance of hiking trails, scenic drives, and opportunities for kayaking, fishing, and skiing, the Berkshires offer endless outdoor adventures for visitors to explore and enjoy throughout the year. Williamstown is one of many charming small towns in the Berkshires—just brimming with historic charm, quaint shops, and cozy cafes, inviting visitors to stroll along scenic streets and experience the warmth of our local community! We look forward to hosting you soon:)) Guest access Guests are encouraged to walk around the property, including the half-mile long private gravel road, shared by 4 residences. Feel free to enjoy the small screen-enclosed gazebo while bird watching and feed the goldfish in the man-made pond with "babbling-brook" water feature that also doubles as a frog sanctuary. Families of deer often visit the property and are fun to watch...as they feast on the "salad bar" also known as our perennial flower gardens. LOL Other things to note Important Reminders: Please be mindful of noise and use good judgment regarding neighbors. Fireworks are not allowed; they're a fire hazard, and neighbors have called the police for them in the past. The maximum occupancy of the property is 4 guests total. Please do not exceed this number of guests + visitors during your stay. Fire Wood and fire starters are provided for you to use in the outdoor fire pit. Please do not leave a fire or hot embers in the outdoor fire pit when you turn in for the night or leave the property. . Note: The Town of Williamstown or the Commonwealth of Massachusetts may occassionally issue a “No Burn Order” or Red Flag warnings, which indicate hire fire danger during extremely dry weather and may lead to burn bans in the area or state. **Please confirm with Host before utilizing fire pit** Small dogs (under 30 lbs, maximum of 2) are welcome to join you during your visit. Keep dog(s) leashed at all times, do not leave dog(s) unattended for any amount of time, and clean up and dispose of any doggy-related "business" in the trash bin behind the Airstream. Smoking is not allowed in the camper. Please use the appropriate receptacle for any smoking materials and do not throw cigarette butts onto the gravel campsite area. Finally, please remember there are wild animals in this area. Please bag your trash when you put it in the locked bins. Be sure to also properly latch the exterior camper door at night and if you leave the property during the day for any amount of time as we do have bear and other woodland creatures who will be attracted to unsecured food.
