Bed and breakfast in Falmouth

We built our home in 1997 and have shared it with our five children, grandchildren and extended family. We thought someday when the kids leave, we will make it into a Bed & Breakfast and Airbnb has made the dream simply possible. Joining Airbnb in May 2016 changed and enriched our lives by the many travelers we have hosted and friends we have made. We look forward to being your host soon. We believe that the breakfast we include with the room rate adds substantial value. The space This room is the Secret Garden Suite which is privately located on the second floor off the kitchen. This spacious, sunny room has a queen bed, private bath, closet and has a table and chairs, recliners,plus tv and its own minifridge. Our guests are welcome to grab a cup of coffee, tea & water from the kitchen anytime during their stay. If you are in need of laundry and an iron - we can help you with that. Our guests may use and enjoy the pool (between Memorial Day and Labor Day and sundeck, the shady quiet front porch and the gardens with the bonus of butterfly and bird watching, including humming birds. The Pool closing date depends on the pool guy - but typically is sometime in late September. If you need additional rooms for friends....we have two rooms, the Holly and Lilac Rooms - both are on the second floor; they have queen beds and share an expanded split bath, plus a second half bath on the first floor. All of our rooms are clean and comfortable. It should be noted that a car is recommended as we are a ten minute drive to the village and beaches. There is a key to the room which provides privacy. The side door has a code and we will provide you with that when you are staying with us. To be honest we are typically here and the door is usually open for our guests. Guest access Kitchen, Living room, dining room, front porch, back yard and pool can be used by our guest. We provide a code to access the house once the room is prepared for your arrival. However 95% of the time we are here to greet our guests in person and if not we provide the code. Our driveway is long and there is plenty of parking at the house. During your stay We are happy to provide information and suggestions. We have enjoyed immensely meeting our many guests and we have had lovely, long chats and hours of fun. Other things to note A dog named Dixie who loves her tummy rubbed and treats sometimes is here for a visit, but does not live here anymore. We have an indoor cat named Monet who is friendly and two senior cats Mimi and Lulu - 18 years old but they are very shy - you may not see them. In addition we have geese. We are a ten minute drive to the village and beaches so a vehicle is recommended in order for you to enjoy your visit. We have hosted guests who used Ubers but you basically have to Uber everywhere.
