Red River Beach Getaway in Harwich

Bright Cape-themed 4 bedroom, 2 BA split level home, adjacent to conservation land & close (0.7 miles) to Red River Beach, a large family-friendly beach off Nantucket Sound. -Open floor plan w/LR, dining area and kitchen -Large deck off kitchen with lounge chairs & dining space -3 BR on the main level along with 2 baths -Open ground level with TV, games and outdoor access, plus additional large BR (sleeps 4) -Outdoor living space with propane fire pit The space NEWLY RELISTED! This is my family's summer home that we rent for selective weeks and days when we are unable to get away. The home is 0.7 miles to Red River Beach, a large public beach off Nantucket Sound, with life guards, bathrooms, a food stand and weekday beach-combing in the summer. It’s a great family beach with lots of jetties, shells and space for boogey boarding. The space contains all the items you need for a perfect beach get away: outdoor shower, shed with beach supplies, back patio/grill, firepit, newer mattresses and beds enabling flexible sleeping arrangements. Pets are not allowed under any circumstance. This is my home and we suffer from severe allergies and asthma, exacerbated by animal dander. Please do not ask for exceptions or violate this rule. It will require expensive deep cleaning, including steam cleaning of all rugs, carpet and furniture. The main living space consists of a wide open floor plan (Cathedral ceilings) with living room, dining area (large table seats 8, with additional seating at island counter for 2), and kitchen and large deck (again, table and chairs for 8 on the deck). Kitchen has all the cooking gear you'll ever need (lobster pots are in the storage space downstairs). We installed new windows in Summer 2022. There are 3 bedrooms on the main level along with 2 baths. The ground level contains a large open space for kids to play in, walk out to back yard/shower and the grill, firepit, bistro tables and outdoor living area. There is an additional bedroom on ground level that could sleep a family of 4. The master bedroom contains a queen and a renovated marble en-suite. The second bedroom contains a queen and a separate twin. The third bedroom has a queen as well. Downstairs on the ground level is another queen and 2 twins (formerly bunkbeds). While bed counts may exceed my maximum allowed guest that is for sleeping flexibility NOT for additional invites. The maximum guests allowed is 10 (up to 8 adults) to manage wear and tear on the property and for your own enjoyment given just 2 full baths and seating for 8-10 in the dining area and outside. Though, feel free to bring your own. Bring your bikes or borrow ours, because the Old Colony Rail trail is 0.6 miles away, where you can bike to Chatham or head north all the way to Wellfleet on a partially shaded car free trail.
