Cozy Cape Cottage! Backyard+Walk to Beach!

Come relax at my beloved beach cottage! Cozy+quiet, tucked away in hidden gem Cape Cod neighborhood located just BEFORE the bridge! Walk 0.6 mi (~13 mins) to gorgeous Sagamore Beach (never crowded). Large, secluded backyard abutting woods w/ a path to Clark Playground. 2 BR+1 full BA in the main house+separate 3rd BR in the detached garage available in the summer (no ensuite bathroom in garage). Outdoor shower! AC! Family friendly! Coastal grandma vibes! Charming, rustic, classic New England! The space **House Details** Bedroom 1 - Queen bed with AC & TV with streaming. This is the main bedroom (the largest). Bedroom 2 - Queen bed with AC & TV with streaming. This bedroom is a little smaller than the main bedroom. Bedroom 3 [Summer Only] - Queen bed with AC & TV with streaming. We call this room the "Captain's Quarters" - it is a private, finished bedroom in the back of the detached garage on the property. The room is spacious and bright with lofted cielings and a skylight. However, there is no ensuite bathroom in the garage. So if you are staying in this bedroom you must walk a few steps outside & through the backyard into the main house to use the bathroom. **There is currently no heating installed in the garage so this bedroom is only available during the summer (June 1 - Sep 14). During the rest of the year (Sep 15-May 31) it is fully closed, no exceptions. Bathroom - There is one full bathroom in the main house with a tub and rainfall shower head. Kitchen - Well equipped & fully stocked! Dining Area - Separate dining area with full size dining table. Backyard - The true star of the property! We are lucky to have a backyard abutting town woods, so you really feel secluded and relaxed because the backyard is enclosed on all sides! Grill up some burgers and hot dogs on our gas BBQ grill and relax under the bistro lights as the sun sets after a nice day at the beach! Listen to birds chirp and let your worries melt away! Outdoor Shower - We recently installed an outdoor shower in the backyard behind the garage with hot water available. It is still a work in progress so there is no door one side currently. **Update as of 8/5/26 - We are currently dealing with a hive of honey bees in this area and hoping to have them removed safely. Please inquire about availability of the outdoor shower in the meantime. Air Conditioning - We have window unit AC's. The AC in the kitchen is very powerful and cools down all of the common areas. Additionally, each bedroom has its own AC. Other things to note **Beach Access** 1) Sagamore Beach Our cottage is ~.7 mi from gorgeous Sagamore Beach. This beach does require a resident parking permit so I suggest walking there (~12-15 min walk from the cottage), or you can bring your bikes or rent bikes nearby to bike there in a few minutes. 2) Scusset Beach This is a public beach ~3 mi from the cottage with public bathrooms and a snack hut open to the public. If you don't feel like walking to Sagamore Beach you can drive and park here at Scusset Beach to experience the same stunning shoreline. It is only a ~5 min drive from the cottage. 3) Countless other world class Cape Cod & Plymouth beaches a short drive away! We have some beach chairs and an umbrella for you to use! **Location** The cottage is located in beautiful Sagamore Beach - a residential and tranquil village of Bourne, Cape Cod. But it is located BEFORE the bridges! Yes, experience the Cape without the bridge traffic! A true "hidden gem"! And if you do want to do a day trip over the bridge, it is only a 5 min drive to the Sagamore bridge which will give you easy access to the rest of the Cape! There is also a woodland path behind the house that brings you directly to Clark Field & playground if you have kids they will love it! Also, this path makes your walk to the beach shorter! And if you like to bike - there is the beautiful Cape Cod canal bike path only a ~5 min drive from the cottage!
