Welcome to this 3,000 sf (280 m2) loft-style apartment in the heart of downtown Elizabeth, NJ. It is the entire third floor of a historic building. Centrally located with easy access to everything. Sleeps up to 10 people with large, open bedrooms. Open concept kitchen/living/dining room for gathering. Dining table seats 6 people. There are 2 spacious full bathrooms as well. ***Parties, events, smoking not allowed here*** A digital rental agreement must be signed before check-in. The space The apartment is very spacious with ample room for up to 10 people to stay. Each bedroom has its own desk and office chair. Guest access You will have access to the entire private apartment. It is not shared with anyone. Other things to note The amenities that are listed at the time you book the unit are the amenities provided. Please review this list of amenities before booking. If you complain to Airbnb about an amenity that is not provided, this complaint will not be successful. This listing DOES NOT include parking. The building does not have a driveway or any parking. Parking can be found on the streets and you do not need a permit to park. But, you must follow the directions on the street signs and find a legal place to park. You may not find a spot directly in front of the house and you may need to drive around the neighborhood to find a spot. We cannot be responsible for any parking tickets or violations you may receive. We also cannot be blamed if you have difficulty finding parking. Parking is solely the responsibility of the guest, not the host. Self check-in and check-out are available. There is a lockbox with keys at the property. You will receive the code to the lockbox in advance of your arrival but it will only become active at 4:00 pm on the day of check-in. The check-in window is 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If you are planning to arrive after 11:00 pm, you must clear this with us. We will not be available to support you during check-in if you arrive very late at night (after 11:00 pm) and we will not offer refunds if you have issues checking in after 11:00 pm. Please also note that this is an older building. The apartment looks like the photos in the listing and we keep it clean. It is a basic space with basic amenities. If you are looking for a functional and competitively priced place relatively close to New York City and Newark Airport, this would be a good space for you. If you are looking for a modern and luxury stay, this is probably not the place for you. We also just want to make clear that you are renting a private house and not a hotel room. There are many differences between house rentals and hotels, and some newer guests may not realize it. Hotels are large and often have many rooms, and the ability to change your room should issues arise. Hotels also have staff 24/7 that can help you with every issue or questions that you may have. On the other hand, we are a small operation and manage our listings to the best of our ability. We try hard to create a good experience for guests. We are including this disclaimer here because we have recently seen a rise in guests that seem to view short-term rentals as very similar to a hotel, but in reality this type of stay is quite different.
