Oceanview Luxury Retreat - Ala Moana Resort Hotel

*Please Note: As with most resort hotels, when you arrive for check-in at the Ala Moana Hotel front desk, you'll pay a one-time $50.00 check-in fee, and a $30.00 + tax daily resort fee (for your entire group, not per person). This gives you full access to all the super cool resort amenities: rec deck, pool, pool towels, beach towels, gym, and luggage storage. The hotel requires you to provide a credit card to cover these fees and any incidental charges during your stay. Check-In/Check-Out: You can check in or out anytime, 24/7, with the Ala Moana Hotel staff. Check-in starts after 3:00 PM (if you want to get in earlier, it's based on availability and might come with an extra charge). Check-out by 11:00 AM (late check-outs depend on availability and also could have additional fees). Cleaning and Linens: Since this is a privately owned unit, you will not have access to hotel maid service. We'll stock you up with towels, bed linens, and basic toiletries for your entire stay, but there is no mid-stay swaps for towels or linens. If you would like us to perform cleaning and restocking during your stay, you can schedule it in advance for a $75 service fee. For your convenience, there is a public laundry room available on the 6th floor. It's $3/load that and takes credit cards. Trash needs to be placed in the storage room behind the elevator, not left outside your door. We provide extra clean towels and sheets, coffee, creamer/sugar, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, soap, lotion, toilet and tissue paper. Unit Amenities include: 1 king-sized bed, Lanai with views of the ocean and city, complimentary free Wi-Fi, LCD TV, central AC, Alarm clock, Shower, Hairdryer, Iron and ironing board, Microwave, Mini fridge, Coffee maker (Keurig coffee, sugar, creamer), dishes (cups, bowls, plates). Sorry, no pets allowed. *Resort Fee Details: Daily $30 + tax (for the whole group, not per person) • Unlimited access to the building's spots like the pool deck and gym. • Beach towels from the hotel (just return them by 7 PM). • Free luggage storage if you arrive early or need it after checkout. *This fee is required even if you don't plan on using any of the amenities. There are extra trash bags in the drawer by the refrigerator for daily disposal. Parking (3 Options): (1) Nightly parking is available there for $34.75 paid via QR code signs adjacent to the parking area that connects to the hotel via the 2nd floor walk up ramp. (2) Hotel Parking is available through the front desk upon check-in. Self-Parking is $39 per night + tax, or Valet Parking is $45 per night + tax (based on availability). (3) There are a few free street parking spaces around but nearly impossible to find an open space. The Not-So-Fun Policing Policy Details (We’ll Try To Be Cool About It): We get it, rules stink, but to keep everyone safe, happy, and fine-free, we have to explain a few so plug your nose and read on. We apologize in advance! • Cooking Shenanigans: Fire codes are stricter than a diet on New Year's Day, so no heating elements allowed for meal prep. Microwave only for heating up your takeout masterpieces. Think of it as your personal "nuke-it" chef. (Pro tip: Honolulu's got killer food trucks and amazing restaurants close by and onsite; save the Iron Chef vibes for them!) • Smoke-Free Zone Alert: This place is 100% smoke-free, like a yoga retreat on steroids. That means no smoking, vaping, e-cigs, or even thinking about, it in the unit, on the lanai, or anywhere on the property. Violators will get popped with a whopping $500 fine for the "oops, we gotta deep-clean the vibes" remediation. And the cleaners have a great sense of smell. So, if you gotta puff, walk off the property first. • Party Pooper Policy: No parties, events, or impromptu dance-offs in the room. Instead, take that energy to the beach or a nearby park where you can tear it up without waking the neighbors. We're all about good times, just not the "cops-knocking" kind. • Quiet Hours (Shhh...): From 10 PM to 8 AM, keep it down like you're tiptoeing past a sleeping dragon (or maybe some very nice, sunburned families who over did it and had to hit the hay early). Finally, you'll have to roll with any building policies on emergencies, repairs, maintenance, fire drills, evacuations, or those unfortunate water shut-offs that fortunately don’t happen often. So stuff like emergency closures, amenity glitches, or utility drama, unfortunately, are beyond even our superhero host powers, so we cannot offer refunds or credits if they happen. Sorry about that. We're not trying to be like those buzzkill parents (you know, the ones with the "because I said so" face), but there's always that one guest who thinks “hard rules” are just “suggestions”, but we're betting it's NOT you! 😎 Thanks for being awesome and understanding.
