Come for a short or long stay in this cozy, efficient, newly renovated cottage. Located less than a mile from the New Hampshire border in Winchendon, MA, the cottage provides easy access to hiking, skiing, fishing, and other outdoor activities in both the Monadnock Region, and North Central Worcester County. Brand new mini-splits provide AC throughout the house and brand new beds and mattresses will help ensure a comfortable and restful stay. 25 Min from Wachusett Ski Area for winter getaways! The space This is a 750 square foot cottage on the corner of a busy road and a quiet dirt road. It can be a bit loud with the sound of cars passing as it is so close to the road, but we have provided noisemakers in each bedroom. The dirt road is quite quiet, and is a lovely walk. Within the house you will find an open first floor with a living room area, kitchen and dining room, a bathroom with a bath-tub also on the first floor, and two bedrooms on the second floor, one with a king bed and a second with a Queen bed and a working desk. We have a pack and play and high chair available, and have children's books and toys as well. The cottage is 8 minutes from Franklin Pierce, 4 minutes from the Winchendon School and 15 minutes from Cushing Academy for people who are visiting students at those institutions. Guest access Guests can access the entire house, the 3 season porch, and the yard in the back of the house.
