Other things to note HOUSE RULES (By booking, you acknowledge and agree to all house rules listed below) Security Deposit & Post-Stay Inspections: - A $500 refundable security deposit is pre-authorized through Airbnb (not charged at the time of booking). - The deposit covers things like accidental damage, missing items, unauthorized guests, indoor smoking, or unapproved late checkouts. - The property is inspected within 24 hours after checkout to document any damage or rule violations. 🔥 Important: The home is equipped with a smoke detection and alarm system directly connected to the local fire department. If smoke is detected indoors, it may trigger an automatic emergency dispatch and result in a city-issued false alarm fine, which would be deducted from the deposit. Quiet Hours & Neighborhood Respect: - Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. NO music, loud conversations, or noise during this time to respect our neighbors. - This is a family-oriented building, and neighbors may report disturbances — thank you for helping us maintain a peaceful environment. Gatherings, Parties & Events: - NO parties, events, or amplified music are allowed. - Planning a small gathering? Please request approval in advance — a post-event cleaning fee of $150–$250 may apply. - Confetti, glitter, and similar décor are NOT allowed due to cleanup difficulty and potential damage. Registered Guests & Overnight Stays: - Only guests listed in the booking are permitted to stay overnight. Smoking, Vaping & Open Flames: - Absolutely NO smoking, vaping, hookah, or drug use indoors or in the garage. - A $500 remediation fee (+ tax) will be charged for any evidence of indoor smoking. - NO candles, incense, or other open flames indoors. Safety & Security: - Exterior cameras monitor entry points; tampering voids the reservation. - Smart smoke/CO detectors — do not disable. - Always lock ALL doors and windows when leaving. Parking & Garage Guidelines: - The private garage fits up to 8 standard-sized vehicles. Large vans or oversized trucks are not permitted. - One 50-amp Level-2 EV charger — please unplug after charging is complete. - No idling, vehicle repairs, or mechanical work allowed in the garage. Damage, Spills & Maintenance Issues: - Immediately report any spills, damages, or malfunctions for prompt resolution. - Guests are liable for damage beyond normal wear per Airbnb policy. Kitchen & Laundry: - Feel free to use all appliances and basics (coffee/tea provided). - Turn off stove/oven when finished; never leave cooking unattended. - Run the dishwasher or hand-wash and stack dishes before check-out. - Free in-unit washer/dryer; clean the lint filter after use. - Iron & board supplied—return cool and dry.
