Just a short walk to the Waipio valley overlook! Our house is great for adults & children. Come enjoy, explore and relax in our gardens, stream, gulch, rainforest & waterfall! Our "Banana Belt" climate is perfect -temperate, blue skies & breezy. Just a 10 minute drive from historic town of Honokaa. The space The house has an open floor plan, and it is suitable for both adults and children, a total party size of six. There is a seamless flow from the entry to the dining, living room and kitchen. The kitchen has an island stove and dishwasher. There is a master bedroom with a California King size bed, and two smaller bedrooms, each with a full size bed; and the couch in the living room converts to a two person size sleeper bed. The Master bathroom has a sauna style shower with a built in bench. The second bathroom has a full size bathtub. The decor is clean, uncluttered and modern. It's a great space to return to after a day of sight seeing on the island. In the evening spread out and relax on the big, comfy couch with family and enjoy a movie on the 56" 4K TV. One corner of the graciously sized living room space has a workspace for computer work or writing. There is a unique layout of outdoor spaces. The house itself has a generous half-acre of open grass area with gardens - with a front and back yard for children to play in. Or by passing through the secret gate you can go to the Waterfall garden or to the tropical landscaped gardens next door, and explore the gulch and stream. There are many places to sit, relax and recharge. It is a perfect location to enjoy a cup of coffee or relax with a glass of wine. Waterfall access is only steps away from the house. Use the footbridge and cross over the stream - there is a children's play area with swings and a rope tunnel. Or walk the path to the switchback, which will take you down to the base of the waterfall! Guest access Guests have access to the front and back yards, to the Waterfall Garden and to the gardens, stream, gulch, rainforest and waterfall. Other things to note Please do not flush anything down the toilet other than toilet paper. No napkins, sanitary napkins or any other items. We are on a septic system. There are strictly only six guests maximum allowed in the house. Absolutely no overnight guests! Please do not bring any outside guests onto the property.
