Parking is within 5Min. (Usually just about 1 Min. from property). The space Our little Refuge ist situated a 45 Second walk from the beautiful Baby Beach, which is fantastic to hangout or go an snorkeling Adventure (Seaturtles, Corals and an occasional Seal as well a whole lot of Maritime Life to explore). There are a lot of nice Restaurants and Shopping Occasions as well as a handfull of great Bars to enjoy a drink with an Ocean View. The closest Supermarket is at the Cannery Mall – 2 Min. Drive/ 10 Min. Walk) On our Property we have 3 big Tortoises (Arty, Cicillia and Olivia) roaming freely and enjoying their everday Life. Our 2 Cockatoos (Kai&Sweety) will make sure that there is no such thing as bordedom around. Rusty the Rooster and his hens will occasionally show their presence and supply us everyday with fresh and tasty eggs(fully organic feed). Our small other Silkies hang and look adorable.. Our small Family of Pidgeons, born and raised here is hanging around most oft he day, as well as a lot of pretty birds (Java Finches, Lovebirds, Doves, Sun Conure, Cardinals etc.). Our Ohana tenants have 2 chilled Dogs that will be in the yard from time to time (Super friendly). If you feel like having a BBQ just let us and know and we will bring it out for you. At the porch we have a SMALL Kitchenette for you to use. It consist of a Microwave – A Cooking Plate (Pans&Pots provided) as well as a Small Oven (Theres a lazy Button called Pizza – So just put it in and wait for the „Bing“ and youre Pizza is ready) It's more of a warm up things, sandwich, pizza, etc. NOT A GIANT MEAL KITCHEN. Our living room is inhabeted by 5 Cats that are truly friendly and always appreciate a little bit of attention. Also there is a TV and a remote if you feel like watching a movie. Netflix is just a click away. Feel free to hangout and enjoy a lazy day. We are not a party place as we also have a lot of animals sleeping in and on our property. Be part of our familiar and lively little Homestay. The Room: You’re room has a nice and comfy Queen Size Bed and a private Bathroom. The shower is a Jack and Jill Style – Shared shower, very spacious. The rooms have Fans to keep the temperature right and enough windows so you can feel the fresh breeze coming in from the ocean as well as a bright daylight. But dont worry if you wanna sleep in, we also have curtains. We provide Linen – Blankets – Towels – Beach Towels as well as Shampoo – Soap and Conditioner. We put a lot of effort into keeping this place clean, so you can enjoy you‘re Holiday. The Shower can be locked. As well as the Door leading from youre Bathroom into the Shower. Also you can lock the Bathroom Door that connects to you’re room. You get youre own Key that will lock you’re room and gets you in and out of the front Gate whenever you feel like it **Info** It’s possible to stay with 3 Persons (We can put up an extra Cot+Mattress). We provide Laundry service for a Fee. We also Rent out Golf Clubs. Guest access Check in is from 3PM – 12AM. Check Out is till 10AM. Contact us an hour prior to you’re arrival! We are not a hotel! Our staff needs to be there to Chek you in (Their main duty is to take care of the Animals). After 7PM a 20$ Late Check In Fee applies. We cant Check you in after 12AM. (Our staff is on their feet early everday) If we have not received any notification by 10 PM we will consider you a „No-Show“. During your stay I'm pretty much around all the time or am always available through text. I used to work a Hotel Front desk concierge, and have been on the Island 25 yrs, so I know best places to go for what. I can help you arrange activities, map out routes, etc. I can arrange pictures with the birds..show you the animals...help yourself taking pictures. Aloha Remember this is a refuge /rescue,. Animals, dogs, cats, Tortises walk free on property. This is NOT for you if you are afraid of ANY animals. children MUST be potty trained to sleep on OUR mattress please. Also please stay with your children at all times as they may spook the animals. Gates, doors, always stay closed. Have fun.This is different. .but cool. Other things to note Please Keep our Gate&Doors closed. It is important as we have free roaming Animals on the Outside and Birds on the porch and Cats on the inside. We are running on Solar energy so you help us a lot by switching off lights when you’re going out. We are happy to show you all our animals but we would ask you not to feed them without us knowing. (Avocado can be quite deadly for some of the Animals around). When coming from the Beach (after Swimming) we kindly ask you to shower off at our Beach Shower Outside( Keeps Sand, Sandflies and Ticks out of our House). You’re help is dearly appreciated. On the outside we would ask you to wear shoes and put them off when coming inside the House (Red vulcanic Dirt - Saves us hours of trying to scrub it off the floor).
