We warmly welcome families with children, couples, and vetted solo travelers. Family Tip: For extra space and comfort, we recommend booking two side-by-side cabins. Message us for a special discounted rate for family bookings. Need a place to start? We offer optional activities which help you build your confidence, acceptance, and discover the body is not inherently sexual.   ♻️ An Eco Retreat You Can Feel Good About Our retreat is proudly off-grid and sustainable. Solar power fuels our property We harvest rainwater for the showers and pool Our drinking water comes from snowmelt atop Mauna Kea, filtered naturally for decades through volcanic rock before emerging from a pristine local spring. Your stay here means leaving a minimal carbon footprint while reconnecting with nature in its purest form. 🏝 Centrally Located for Island Adventures Our location makes it easy to explore the Big Island’s most spectacular sites—from waterfalls to black sand beaches, volcanic landscapes, and cultural treasures. Our friendly, full-time staff is always available to help you plan your day and discover hidden gems along the way. Experience freedom. Feel the aloha. Live naturally. We can’t wait to welcome you. FAQs: What should I bring with me? Swim Towels  Sun Block  Flashlight Are there rules in place to keep this a family friendly location? YES. No overt sexual behavior is tolerated. Anyone in violation is removed without refund. Guests subject to registered sex offender background check. Do I have to be nude? NO. Feel free to ease into things at your own pace. Nothing is ever forced, but please intend to participate and experience a connection with nature like no other. Note: We do not allow attire in the pool, hot tub, or sauna. Is this a green facility? Yes. Our power comes from our large solar array and our water supply comes from rainfall. We use eco friendly products wherever possible and recycle. Our resort uses low consumption to operate and we grow fresh food on site. We feel being "green" in the tropical rainforest goes hand in hand with our mission! Are there hiking trails in the area? YES. Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park is over 500 square miles in size and has world class hikes! We can also send you a list of our favorite outdoor spots and must see locations. Is there power near by for charging my devices? YES. The cabins have power outlets suitable for phones/tablets, and other small devices. Please keep in mind since our power comes from the sun we ask that no heavy appliances are used.  Is there hot water and drinkable water on site? YES.  Is there free parking? YES!  What are the pool hours? 8am-8pm. You are located in the rain forest jungle. Does all that extra rain detract from the experience? No. The serenity and lush green life this rain brings is special! What is the size and layout of this little bamboo bungalow? The space is about 100 sq ft. The pool side cabins are insulated to minimize sound transmission but all units are very close and near the pool so expect common area noise. We have quiet hours from 8pm to 8am where we ask all guests to be mindful of how close everyone is located.  Is the property gated and monitored? YES! We will give you the gate instructions several days before you arrive for a stress free check-in! The property is monitored by the caretaker as well as an outdoor camera that faces the pool. We take your security seriously and want Hawaiian Naturist Park to be a safe place for everyone. Is there a place for me to keep perishable foods? YES and NO. We have one shared refrigerator on site so we ask that you do not bring too many perishable foods. You keep saying my family is welcome here. Does this mean kids too? YES. Being around diverse, non-idealized body types helps children develop realistic expectations about their own bodies. It reduces shame, builds self-acceptance, and counters the often narrow and airbrushed portrayals of beauty seen in media and advertising. When children see that all bodies are normal, they’re less likely to grow up feeling that their body is ‘wrong. Naturist recreation often goes hand-in-hand with outdoor living, unstructured play, and eco-awareness. Children benefit from screen-free time in nature, where they move freely, explore the outdoors, and learn to appreciate their bodies as part of the natural world—not something to hide or feel ashamed of. There’s something liberating about being barefoot and bare-skinned in the forest—it awakens curiosity and joy. Any other questions just ask! We are available to help! We speak English and Russian. As owners we are proud members of the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR). We reaffirm AANR’s non-discrimination statement as written in the by-laws; Section I Article IV A, “AANR welcomes all people willing to conform to its principles and standards, regardless of age, gender, marital status, religious beliefs, ethnic origin or sexual orientation.”  We have a 5 star rating!  Let us earn your 5 star review too! We are dedicated to making sure your experience is the best possible! I want this to be a place you will look back at fondly and want to revisit for many "nakations" to come. Guest access In addition to your own private cabin, guests have full access to the grounds, pool, common areas, and lounge areas The deck, cabins, and pool are surrounded by railing and a gate but please note the cabins have direct access to pool and hot tub without barriers. This may be especially noteworthy if you have young ones with you.
