This historic cottage of fly fishing Godfather Bud Lilly. Locally-owned and maintained by his son, Chris, the nostalgic Retreat is a rustic 1BR 1 BA with full kitchen, dining, and living room that sleeps three. NO CLEANING FEE and NO CHORES here. Central Three Forks location-you are minutes from fine dining, blue-ribbon trout streams, world-class ski hills, and Yellowstone Park. Perfect for couples and small families looking for home comforts under the Big Sky. Convenient, cozy, comfortable. The space You'll walk into a small fishing lodge condensed for comfort but you'll not be left wanting as the space has what you need for short and medium stays. The dual kitchen and dining room will be awash in morning and afternoon light during your coffee, work time, or R&R. Through a rounded arch doorway, you'll enter the bedroom and sitting area, which has original furniture from the first iteration of the Angler's Retreat. Enjoy original and rare Western art collected and / or gifted to my parents, Bud and Esther Lilly, over the years. Although the cottage motif is fly fishing, please come stay even if you can't tie a fly, string a rod, or if you've never set foot on the banks of one of the West's great trout streams; this is a place for rest and relaxation, taking in the total experience disengaging from responsibility and stress while you vacation. What's more, you'll see that we've limited the cleaning fee to almost nothing, and expect you, our guest, to take a load off and enjoy yourself. Here at the Retreat we never expected our guests to engage in any chores or housekeeping and we never will. Again, no chores here for our guests! Guest access The space is clearly marked by a latticed fence with a private patio, private entrance, and reserved parking. Other things to note This is a historic little cottage and is dear to my heart. I try to keep my departed parents' legacy alive through this place, so it is very important that the space, art, and decorations are treated with the utmost care. Thanks!
