The Mooseshroom Yurt is located just 7 miles from the west entrance of Glacier National Park. Nature lovers will love the easy access to GNP and Flathead Lake. Bring your pooch too! And the bunks.....extra long twin for you tall folk! The Mooseshroom is a licensed business that is limited to hosting 18 guests per night. Guests should expect a quiet, peaceful camping experience with plenty of room to enjoy their surroundings and the glory of Glacier National Park. The Mooseshroom welcomes adults 21 and older. Please, no exceptions. Guests have access to all 9 acres of my property. There's a tiny pond that's overgrown, but critters like elk and deer and an occasional bear will visit. The Mooseshroom is a quiet sanctuary that is close to restaurants and bars and Glacier, yet it's tucked away in a quiet spot. Guests have access to the Commons, communal fire pit and all 9 acres of the property in addition to the Zen Pen. I live on site and I'm also a phone call or text away! Being 7 miles from Glacier NP, there are good restaurants and bars close by along with rafting companies, anglers, etc. Glacier Distilling Company is within a mile of the Mooseshroom......best distillery in the state of Montana!! Having a car is almost a necessity as there is no public transportation. There is a bike path adjacent my property that takes you all the way to Glacier NP. The Commons/bath house is about a 2 minute walk up a slight incline.
