Enjoy a coffee down on the dock in the morning or spend the day paddleboarding and canoeing. Our house is 5 minutes from restaurants, shops, and everything else downtown Newton has to offer. We're minutes from excellent hiking and biking trails. The perfect way to relax without being too far from civilization. Enjoy your way down to our private dock at any of the landings along the way. - The Main Deck off of the living room is complete with beautiful wrought iron outdoor furniture, Propane BBQ grill, and spectacular views of the lake - The Dining Deck has gorgeous outdoor furniture and a table to enjoy dinner or cocktails at any time of day - The Landing Deck has an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, two Adirondack lounge chairs, a solo stove firepit, and a shed full of fishing poles, lures, and other lake amenities - The Dock is all yours, and has a chaise lounger, a loveseat perfect for enjoying the lake or throwing a line in the water, two canoes, two inflatable paddle boards, a kayak, and a paddle boat (see the welcome guide for more information and instructions for these) The Lake! Paulinskill lake is a gorgeous 3 mile lake that's perfect for swimming, fishing, and activities! Additional Offerings in the Area - Park with baseball field, basketball courts, and a playground - Easy access to the Paulinskill Valley Trail a rail trail that offers 27 miles of natural beauty. Great for walking, running, or biking. Other things to note - Check-in is at 3pm, and check-out is at 11am. - Our cabin is pet friendly and there are water and food bowls on site. However, pets are not allowed on the lake beach (HOA rules). - Please respect the quiet hours of 10pm to 9am to maintain the peaceful atmosphere of the community. - Parking for three cars. - No smoking.
