Relax on the lanai and take in the view when you come back from exploring the fun Maui adventures. The high bistro table allows you to gaze at the view with no obstructions. Or you can relax and unwind as you rock on the new lanai rocking chairs. You'll find all of the luxuries of home, including: - Fully equipped kitchen with all of the essential appliances, cookware, flatware, utensils, coffee maker, blender, rice maker, water filter and basic spices - Clean linens and bath towels - Beach items to enjoy, including beach chairs, umbrellas, kids toys, boogie board, snorkeling sets - Living room with Tommy Bahama Sofa Sleeper, Loveseat and Smart TV - Dining area with rattan seating for 4 people - Bedroom with a comfy queen bed in the bedroom (memory foam mattress), mirrored wardrobe doors dresser, night stands and smart TV - For extra sleeping space, there is a sofa sleeper and self-inflating twin air mattress that also has its own headboard! - Newly remodeled bathroom features beautiful tile (including a sea turtle etched into the tile) and a walk-in shower with a frameless glass panel Kihei is on the sunny South side of Maui, so you can soak up the sun on the lovely beaches and explore your outdoor adventures even more! Our complex, Kihei Ali'i Kai, features a sparkling blue-tiled pool, relaxing Jacuzzi and therapeutic sauna, which are an added bonus to enjoy after your Maui adventures. The pool area also has a community BBQ, so bring home some local meat or fish to cook on the grill! There is a lounge area in the upper BBQ area above the rear parking lot, so if you want to gaze upon Haleakala, that's a great space, too. Our unit is a quiet end unit, so you can take in the serene nights and beautiful mornings as the birds chirp a greeting! You'll love the local feel of Kihei with lots of shops and restaurants just a short walk away. We are located right across from Kamaole I Beach, just steps away from a relaxing day at the beach and a swim with colorful fish and sea turtles! You'll have everything you need for a magical Maui vacation! Guest access Our complex, Kihei Alii Kai, features a sparkling pool, soothing Jacuzzi and shuffleboard! We are a short walk down the private driveway to Kamaole I Beach - one of the best white sand beaches in South Maui. You're sure to see lots of fish and turtles when you snorkel there, too! Local shopping is within walking distance and renting snorkeling gear, surfboards or even scooters is all close by. You'll be close to shopping and restaurants and feel that you have everything you need to have a wonderful Maui vacation! Other things to note Maui State/Excise Tax: Maui does have a transient and excise tax of 17.72%. RING. We have a RING device at the front door that is a motion detector. This is a safety feature to protect our piece of paradise when the unit is vacant. We are only alerted if the doorbell is pressed, but when you need to reach us, the best way is through Airbnb, phone or text. Book Recommendation - Get the book "Maui Revealed"! It has so many hidden gems and you'll maximize your Maui vacation if you have this book. Just be sure to be respectful of the magic of Maui because locals have gotten very upset when visitors disrespect the island.
