Relax and enjoy four seasons of beauty on Bare Hill Pond in Harvard, MA! Nearby are conservation trails, Prospect Hill, and a cozy general store. Located on the lower level of our family home is a private unit with kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom with queen bed, and full bathroom. There's radiant heat, polished concrete floors and a gas fireplace. The patio is perfect for morning coffee, chilling, grilling and cocktails at sunset. Linens provided. The space The property is located on a private, paved road. The ground level apartment is accessed at through mahogany sliders that lock inside and out. The lawn is spacious for any activities, such as corn hole or sunbathing. There’s a small dock for fishing and a beach area for launching your kayak, paddle board or canoe. Please note, there is no fencing near the pond. 24/7 adult supervision is required for children. Water depth off the dock is about 5 feet. In the winter, enjoy snowshoeing and ice skating on the pond. AWD or FWD vehicle is recommended during winter months. Accessibility: Parking in lower driveway. Walk across the level yard or on the gravel walkway beneath the upper deck to access the lower level space. It is one step up from the gravel patio into the living space. A stall/walk-in shower is easily accessible. Guest access Guests park in the lower driveway and walk across the well-lit gravel walkway to reach the unit. It's just one step up from the patio into the space. The apartment is private for your use. The upper floors are occupied by owner & family. The patio, lawn and lower driveway are shared but always available for your use during your stay. Other things to note -No fence at shoreline; adult supervision required for young children. -There is no town water available, so our water is from a well. This does have an obvious sulfur smell. -Due to the remote location, cell service is typically spotty. Please plan accordingly. -There is no central air in the apartment, but we have fans set up during the summer months.
