The Cottage Suite

Welcome to our private in-law apartment located in the basement of a family home. The clean and open concept apartment is fully equipped for a comfortable length of stay for you and your family. We are very close to the heart of Stoneham and STEPS to the local grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, and ice cream shop. The nearest bus stop is a 2 min walk that will take you to Oak Grove Station in Malden which connects to the train station in Boston! If driving, I-95 and I-93 are minutes away! The space Guests will have access to the entire basement suite all to themselves. This is a private in-law apartment accessed from the backyard. Guests will park in the driveway from the front of the house then walk to the back of the house going down only 6 steps. There is a slight downgrade when walking to the apartment door from the steps. There is space in the driveway for 1 car available to guests (or 2 cars parked tandem). Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited; including cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, vaping, marijuana, and drugs of any kind. We hope guests traveling with children and pets enjoy the spacious and fully fenced backyard with space for littles to run and play. We have included our most beloved family games for you and your family to enjoy! Guest access Guests will have access to the entire basement in-law suite using a smart lock. The keypad provides easy and secure access without the use of a key. You will receive the door's password code on the day of arrival and it will expire 15 min past the checkout time. One closet is being used for storage and therefore off limits. (Labeled storage closet.) The washer and dryer are located in the utility room of the home though a door just outside the suite. The use of the washer, dryer and all laundry essentials are included with your stay. The utility room does store some storage items that guests do not have access to. Other things to note ** This is a private walk-out basement apartment. Please keep in mind we live directly above the guest suite and there is potential for some foot traffic overhead and you may hear our dog barking from time to time. We are pet friendly, however we do ask that pets are well behaved and the guests are mindful of this. We have a large crate available for use if guests need to leave pets inside for a significant amount of time. Because we are family and pet friendly, we ask that pets ONLY use the left side of the yard and guests pick up their dog waste with doggie bags we provide.
