The Store

Welcome to The Store! This place originated as a grocery store in our little town of Ossian, IA. We have given this building a fresh new facelift and turned it into a vacation home. Don't be turned away from the outside as we continue to update but embrace the charm we have built on the inside. This space was well thought out with stunning features that we are excited to share with you! The space This place is great spot for 2 couples. Each couple has their own sleeping space in larger sized bedrooms. From “The Store” in Ossian, you’re only a short 15 minute drive through the countryside and you can be downtown Decorah. Decorah has a ton of fun things to do, and places to see while you’re in the area. Guest access While staying here, you’ll enjoy the entire space to yourself, including a large back patio (more amenities to come!) with instructions on how to start the fire pit. Take advantage of the coffee maker and wi-fi. We are located on Main Street in a small town but don’t worry, there is minimal traffic. We also added tint to the front windows to increase privacy and enhance your stay! Other things to note We have front street parking and a rear entrance parking lot. In the winter, (Nov-April) you will have to park overnight in the back for city snow removal purposes.
