The Vernon Street Guest House - Suite 1

Be at home in this updated 1900's home. With all the modern conveniences plus just enough history left behind, the main floor boasts a fully equipped and spacious kitchen & dining room, living room with a desk, laundry area, & bathroom. Typical of a 1900's home are the steep, short footed steps that lead upstairs to the 2 comfortable bedrooms. Perfect for relaxing in the living room or gathering for games, is a cup of freshly roasted coffee, which we happily provide. The space This inviting home is a cozy relaxing retreat. The space is clean & bright with a trendy yet timeless feel. With Mount Pleasant being best known as "Home of the Old Threshers Reunion", you'll find this Guest House to be centrally located. We're just a few steps away from the ever popular Pickleball Courts as well as the Amtrak Station. We are also just a short 6 minute walk to the Mount Pleasant Square, where you can experience local shops, coffee, restaurants, and the quaintness of small town living. *PLEASE NOTE: While this Guest House sleeps 5 people, in addition to the 2 queen beds there is a sleeper couch in the living room. This couch is NOT A TRADITIONAL SOFA BED. It does not pull out, nor does the back fold down. The ottoman must be slid into place for sleeping. It is shorter than an average bed, at just 67" and is 42" wide, so in between a full and twin size bed. *There is a Suite 2 (also available on Airbnb), but both units are completely private with separate entrances. There are no shared indoor spaces. Guest access Guests will have full access to Suite 1. The driveway is a shared driveway. Suite 1 guests should park on the LEFT side of the driveway, closest to the front of the house. One driveway spot as well as street parking is available. It is a fairly quiet street with little traffic. The front porch entrance will be lit and key code accessibility will be provided. Other things to note A few extras, just for fun: * We are happy to provide a small supply of locally fresh roasted coffee beans, as well as a grinder. Preground, instant, Tea & hot chocolate are also provided. *A bag of pickle ball equipment and a "how to" book, for your recreational pleasure. *Bring your login/password for Disney+, HBOmax, Netflix, Amazon Prime, HULU, etc. Roku TV - Living room (50"), Both Bedrooms (43'').
