Charming Victorian walking distance to Mass MoCa

Welcome to The Heron, our newly updated 1800’s Victorian! Perched on a hill overlooking North Adams, we are centrally located to everything the Berkshires has to offer: a 10 minute walk to Mass MoCa, 10 minute drive to Williams college, 20 minute drive to Mt. Greylock, 25 minutes to Berkshire East and only an hour to some of the best skiing in Vermont. Our home is stocked with anything you might need to feel at home during your stay, while you enjoy one of the Berkshires’ hidden gems! The space The Heron is a spacious 4 bedroom home with 2 full baths and a small, private, fenced-in yard. It was fully redesigned in 2024 with contemporary furnishings and amenities including plush couches; down pillows and duvets, fresh linens and Novilla mattresses in each bedroom; KitchenAid appliances and a Keurig machine; and Eucalyptus rocking chairs on the spacious front porch. Downstairs you'll find one full bath, a formal living room with ample seating for games and gatherings as well as a cozy den with a 55-inch TV and comfortable sectional able to fit the whole group for movie night. The dining room is complete with a table large enough to seat 8 comfortably, attached to the updated kitchen stocked with everything you may need to chef up a great meal including spices, oils, pots, pans, etc. Upstairs are four generously sized bedrooms: 2 have King beds and window AC units, 1 boasts a beautiful daybed with a full-sized mattress, and the fourth has a queen with another AC unit and beautiful views of the backyard. All four bedrooms have ceiling fans. On the second floor you'll also find a full bath with antique clawfoot tub, and an intimate nook at the top of the stairs to curl up with a book or cup of coffee in the morning. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the entire property as their own during their stay. Other things to note Parking: The driveway can only fit two vehicles comfortably. It is relatively steep, so recommend a wide turn to enter. Street parking is prohibited directly in front of the home. Bathrooms: Both bathrooms are outfitted with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand and body towels, and hair dryers. Yard space: The backyard is fully fenced in with a small cafe table and chair set on the back porch.
