Stunning lakefront property on 1-acre on Pontsoosuc Lake in western MA, in the heart of the Berkshires. This beautiful home features 3 bdrms & 2.5 baths. A large primary suite (king bed) sits on one side of the home, w/ two guest bdrms (king bed, queen bed) on the other end of the house. Kitchen, dining, and living room areas are spacious and open, with high ceilings & skylights. Cozy closed-in lakeside backporch opens to a small back deck. Large front side porch is set back from main road. The space New England - Cape Cod style property with open concept interior; tasteful, clean, and comfortable furnishings. Multiple work space options for keeping up with work on-the-fly while you enjoy all that lake life has to offer. The three bedrooms are spacious, comfortable, and set up for relaxation. We have new (as of Oct. 2025) mini-split heaters / AC units in each bedroom, + the main living room. The master / primary en-suite includes an over-sized tub as well as a stand-up shower. There is a large screen hi-def flat screen tv in the main living room (with gas fireplace and a private library), as well as in the smaller den overlooking the lake with a smaller tv. There is a 3rd TV in one of the guest bedrooms (with the Queen bed). All 3 TV's have Roku devices so you can login to your own favorite streaming services. The beautiful back porch sun room has wall-to-wall windows looking out at the lake. Wicker rocking chairs are availabile in the garage to bring to the east-facing front porch for your morning coffee, or consider happy hour with a sunset on the dock to wind down the day looking west out over 511 acre Pontoosuc Lake with the Berkshire hills as your backdrop. Just across the road you'll find miniature golf and a driving range, and a Berkshires-must: 101 soft serve flavors and an on-the-go menu at Krispy Cone, which has a large playground for kids to run around with picnic tables for adults to relax. Next door to our Lakehouse is the Berkshire Lakehouse Guest Cottages property. The Berkshire U-Drive Boat Rental (pontoons only) marina is just down the road, a less than minute drive from our place. Within 20 minutes you can find yourself at the highest peak in Mass.: Mount Greylock; or consider skiing / summer-park adventures at Bousquet Ski Are & Mountain Resort (Pittsfield) or Jiminy Peak (Hancock). Tanglewood in Lenox, is also only a 20 minute drive south on Route 7, and hosts the Boston Symphony Orchestra regularly in the summer along with various popular artists to delight the music lovers. Master Bedroom & en-suite: King bed with a large master bath suite, with oversize tub and separate stand-up shower. Guest bedroom #1: King bed, private vanity and sink, and closet. Guest bedroom #2: Queen bed, private vanity and sink, large walk-in closet. A shared full bathroom with tub/shower sits in between the two guest bedrooms, each with its own access door. A sofa bed can pull out from living room couch, and can accommodate another two adults when needed. There is a fully-enclosed back porch sun room on the lakeside right off the kitchen, with wall-to-wall windows looking out at the lake. The back porch has ample rocking chairs and a picnic table, with access to a small back deck and back yard. Large open-space living room / kitchen / dining area, with kitchen island and stools, vaulted ceilings, large screen tv, + all amenities. Welcome & Arrival: The house may be warm in the summer months; there is no air conditioning. We recommend opening windows first thing to let some fresh air in, and turning on window fans in evenings / overnight if needed. The back porch on the lakeside (west-facing) can get particularly warm on sunny afternoons, but will cool down dramatically by evening with open windows. Lower the window blinds to block the afternoon sun if needed, and open these at sunset. There is a seasonal dock in place from early spring to late fall. Geese and ducks like to use the dock for respite from their swimming, if needed, there is a long-handle brush in the backyard shed for cleaning goose / duck poop off the deck - just dip brush in lake and brush clean, takes about 5 minutes. 3 bedroom (king, king, queen) / 2.5 bath. There is an additional full-size pull-out couch on the wrap-around sofa in the living room if additional sleep accommodations are required. Massive old New England hardwood trees thrive down by the water providing ample shade and privacy over an all-weather picnic table available for guest use in all seasons except winter.
