No parties or events without prior host authorization. All guests and visitors must be authorized by Host. Failure to do so may lead to the reservation being canceled. You are required to add all guests to the reservation that will be staying at the listing. If more guests stay than is listed on the reservation, the reservation may be canceled or an additional fee must be paid for each guest. Visitors must be approved by the Host prior to arrival. Smoking is completely prohibited inside. 1st offense is a warning. 2nd offense, we will look to cancel the reservation with no refund and damages pursued. Odor removal services can cost $2,000+. We are not responsible for any personal items left after check out. All personal items left after check out will be disposed of. We do not offer shipping. As noted above, this Airbnb space is the basement level of the home, with a private entrance, and people reside upstairs. The space is listed as a guest suite as guests have exclusive and private use of the entire space, which includes a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, the home theatre and bar. There is a room and closet that are closed for personal use. The hosts will not enter the space unless there is an emergency or prior authorization is granted from the guest. Guests also have exclusive backyard access, and can use to smoke or hang out. The 1 car driveway is unfortunately not available for guest use, however there is plenty of parking available on street. As mentioned elsewhere in the listing, there is also a toddler and dog on the premises, so you may naturally hear sound during the day, being in the lower level. We make all efforts to keep the upstairs quiet during the day and stop noise during quiet hours (after 11 PM). Please exercise patience during your stay - we are offering our personal, renovated, space and putting maximum effort towards accommodating you. Our many five star reviews will attest to that. Lastly, being it’s a home, the heat is controlled upstairs, with the furnace in the airbnb space. The heat is always left on 70-75 degrees in the winter months. There are spare electric heaters or fans in the space if you are ever uncomfortable, however don’t hesitate to let us know if you want us change the heat temperature and we’ll do so. We also have a portable AC that keeps the space very cool if needed. IF THIS SET UP IS AN ISSUE FOR YOU DO NOT BOOK. We only want guests that are totally comfortable with this set up, so we can provide you with the five star experience we know we can provide. The property is located in a quiet, picturesque suburb. Short walk to a shopping center that has several restaurants (Chinese, Colombian, Seafood/Sushi, Diner) and a Shop Rite. There is also a laundromat, wine and beverage, and UPS Store. Near the shopping center is the bus station to NYC. Route 95 Turnpike is minutes away. Train stations (Woodbridge and Rahway) to NY are 15 minutes away. We do offer riding services to the train station for a discounted price compared to typical Uber and Lyft rates - inquire during your stay if interested. 15 minute walk, 2 minute drive to Carteret Park which has a beautiful pond and a playground with play fountains. 5 minute drive to the Carteret Waterfront Park which is one of NJ’s best kept secrets - mini golf, fishing, volleyball all available while surrounded by beautiful views of the Arthur Kill and the Carteret Marina. ———— This property has been massively renovated since being purchased in 2022 and is constantly improving. The basement was recently transformed into an entertainment center and we’re happy to share it with our guests. Guest access There is a 2 car maximum as guests have approximately two spots on the street. For on-street parking, please park on the curb next to the property, NOT in front of other properties, as to not disturb neighbors. If needed, there is a parking garage tied to the Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center within a few minute drive. It is located on High Street and is open daily from 6 am to 10 pm with affordable prices. The guest will enter through a private fence entrance in the backyard, and have a private entrance to the basement unit. They can use all amenities in the basement - the bathroom, kitchen, bar and home theatre. There is one storage room that is locked for personal use. Other things to note We have a large dog (Leo the Labrador Retriever) so those that are allergic or don’t like dogs, be aware. He is very sweet, but can be protective of his home toward strangers so don’t be surprised to hear barking. He has never harmed anyone or anything and we keep him upstairs so you should not have too much interaction, unless you catch him outside during his play time. Also you may hear running around upstairs from time to time. We try our best to settle him down during quiet hours but please let us know if he is ever disturbing you. If you love dogs, we can’t wait to introduce you to him! We also have a young toddler that you may hear playing and talking during the day at times. Thank you!
