A Brookline Sanctuary

You're in the heart of Brookline! LOCAL: Minutes away from a French bakery , Thai restaurant, taqueria, liquor store and small grocery store. More restaurants, cafes and bars down the street in Coolidge Corner and Washington Sq. BOSTON: 5-minute walk to subway stop. 10-min subway ride to Fenway Park. Direct subway to tourist spots! Easy transfer to Cambridge . Perfect for visiting Boston, a friend, a student or colleges. Enjoy the entire floor to yourself with a private entrance! The space Entire floor, living area, bathroom and dining area to yourself with private entrance! PLEASE NOTE: We list this under “entire place” because it’s the closest description. Please read the below for all the details about the place! We’ll be upstairs (you'll see open stairs leading up when you walk in- see pics), but the floors are completely separated. You of course have a door to your place and you won’t see us. But you will likely hear us , since we'll be upstairs. We're not loud, just living life, but just to be super upfront about it! PLEASE NOTE: There are around 26 steps down to the entrance and a slight decline (with a railing). Both are pretty easy to navigate but just want you know! If you have any difficulty with stairs or balance, please consider this when booking! See pics! There's a hill to our place, so if you're walking, please consider this. It's not hard, but just know your body, if you can't do hills, consider this when choosing us. A VERY CUTE DOG LIVES HERE: We have a 20-pound Goldendoodle, so you'll hear her barking on occasion. She won't ever come down but want you to know! No kids or pets, please. There's a small partition separating the guest area from the rest of the floor. Please be mindful of that space. You can sit on the pillows by the windows on either side of the partition or grab a game and enjoy! The division is more to remind you, that's all. The stairs leading upstairs are blocked off. PLEASE NOTE: There is a motion camera in the basement but NOT in your space (your area is yours and yours alone—you get 100% privacy), it's just there to see the stairs leading up to our area. And there are camera on the house itself as part of an alarm system. We are honest about everything we offer, so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. We expect you to treat the space with respect, that's really about it. Guest access A private entrance with a code to the door. You are welcome to come and go as you please. Other things to note No kids or pets, please. If you have trouble with steps, please consider another place. Like we mention, there are around 26 of them and a slight decline and we would hate for you to feel any discomfort or inability to go up/down! Please be aware of this! There's a hill to our place, so if you're walking, please consider this. It's not hard, but just know your body, if you can't do hills, consider this when choosing us. During winter, we will shovel when needed, but a shovel will be provided for you in case there are times when you need! Brookline doesn't allow overnight street parking. However, we found that on our street, there are hardly ever tickets issued. This, of course, does not guarantee you won't get a ticket, but odds are good. You are welcome to park in front of the house but please know, you are taking the risk and in no way do we take any responsibility should you choose to park and get a ticket.
