Our place is a newly renovated unit in a multifamily house. We are an 8-10 minute walk from the Journal Square PATH Train Station that takes you into NYC in as little as 10 minutes. We are also under 5 minutes walk from multiple eateries + supermarkets, and a 3-5 minute walk from the cultural street of Indian Square in Jersey City. Our place is located on a quiet st and provides you a comfortable place to relax and unwind, while still being close enough to the action and liveliness of the city. The space Please note this is a **NO SHOES PROPERTY**. There is a shoe rack in the lobby directly outside the entrance to the unit, as well as an additional shoe rack for storage in the living room. Thank you! This shared apartment is UNIT 1, located on the second floor of the property. (The hosts live on the third floor in a separate entrance unit.) This apartment has 4 private rooms available for booking, and a total of 3 full bathrooms. There is a shared living room and shared full kitchen. Please be conscious that you will be staying in the same apartment with other guests. Quiet hours are from 10PM to 7AM. Gigabyte wifi is available throughout the whole unit from Verizon. The kitchen has a new BRITA water filter jug in the fridge for your convenience, so please bring your reusable water bottles with you on your trip! Airport "Good to Know"s: We are a 15 minute drive from EWR Airport. We are a 1 hour drive from JFK airport, or 1.5 hour public transit ride. Surroundings and Parking: We are located on a relatively quiet tree-lined street for city/urban standards - rest assured you will be living in a central area close to the action, but will also be able to get a good night's sleep. There is free street parking on our street and surrounding streets but only for 2 hours at a time, and the city requires a permit if you park on the street overnight. We have one parking space on our property driveway that is available for booking for $5 a night, subject to availability on your dates. Please inquire if you are interested. Guest access You will have access to your own private room that has a lock, your own dedicated shared bathroom, and the shared living spaces which include the kitchen and the living room. You will be staying in your own room with the following: - a queen bed with brand new hybrid mattresses from Korea and Sealy Queen Down pillows to elevate your stay - desk and chair, perfect for work or to use as a vanity - 50 inch ROKU 4K TV with apps like Netflix, Spotify, Hulu, and more. Rest assured that you will be signed out of all of your personal accounts at your checkout time. - Complimentary earplugs and small medicinal items located in your room. Additional provided upon request! - Clothes hanger/closet space - DEDICATED SHARED bathroom (shared only with 1 room, if there is someone staying during the same dates as you. It is accessible via hallway, + located across your room) with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Hairdryer and body towels provided. During your stay If you need any help during your stay, please reach out to us via Airbnb messages and we will respond as quick as we can. You will probably see us in and out of the property as well since we live upstairs. We won't bother you much in-person during your stay, unless you need us or want to have a chat.
