Leave your worries at home! This lake front vacation camp is going to leave you with a sense of peace and enjoyment of vacation! Upon arriving to this camp with a view, you will instantly be met with the calmness of the dirt road, the breeze over the mountains, the rustling of the leaves, the sound of geese, and a faint smell of fire from the outdoor fire pit. Use this camp as your escape from reality, if only for a weekend! Older home from 1928, the camp has it's quirks! The space This camp, originally purchased by our family in 1951 but was built in 1928! Originally bought by Harry Linell II, as a second home to spend summers; eventually upon retirement became a true snow bird moving from here to West Palm Beach, Florida during the colder months. The camp used to be known for the patriotism; red, white and blue, EVERYWHERE! Back when Harry II was alive he would dress up as Uncle Sam and pass out balloons and popsicles to the neighborhood kids. If you happen to stay over the 4th of July holiday you are truly stepping into true history, of this town! Recently we have upgraded the camp for a place for our family to continue to come and enjoy but also share with the vacation world a unique small town and camp; where you can get away from the busyness of everyday life! Guest access You'll have access to the property from a code, I'll send you morning of! You'll use the key pad on the front door. Other things to note Liability Waiver: You understand that swimming, hiking and the use of rafts, vest, fishing, etc is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming, hiking and using the rafts, vest, fishing, etc. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming, hiking and use of the rafts, vest, fishing, etc and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that swimming, hiking and the use of rafts, vest, fishing, etc may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming, hiking or using the rafts, vest, fishing, etc if a person has health risks, or if a person swims, hikes or uses the rafts, vest, fishing, etc while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming, hiking or using the rafts, vest, fishing, etc. All Airbnb Guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Airbnb Guests and Airbnb Host.
