It's just under a mile, just a 5 minute bike ride to French Quarter/CBD/Marigny/Bywater and less than that to get to the Fairgrounds (New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival). Excellent coffee shop/breakfast joint, just a few blocks down the street, as well as grocery (Whole Foods, Rouses), bars, drug store, etc convenient to the house. Safe area and quiet area, long-term resident neighbors. Main bedroom has one queen bed (sleeps 2), second bedroom has one lofted twin bed, 3rd room (walkthrough) has an Indonesian twinbed (sleeps 1). The location is perfect, as it's equidistant to both the bustling French Quarter and the more tranquil beautiful City Park, yet the area is residential so you're outside of the traffic and noise at busy times of year. You can easily bike around town from here. Guest access This is a personal residence, that you will have all to yourself. The entire house is yours. Completely private and turn-key stocked. Other things to note The house is a an edited traditional shotgun walk through layout, there’s plenty of room for multiple guests, but all rooms on the left are connected to get to the next. On the right side there are two separate bedrooms, each private (non walk through). The house is part of a “double,” so the space is private and it’s own house but shares a wall with the neighbor on the other half of the double. We ask that guest be considerate of noise.
