Please read the full description: Come relax in our casita with all the charm and quiet of a country villa, but close to the heart of New Orleans culture. Located in the 7th ward, we're a short walk from several cafes, restaurants, and bars as well as a lively music scene. We're short walk from the French Quarter and the Marigny along beautiful Esplanade Ridge. We have private entry through our side yard and off-street parking to ensure no hassle when you arrive and depart. The space PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE REQUESTING TO STAY, ESP RE: POOL RULES AND NEIGHBORHOOD. The main room features a queen sized bed with extra linen. We have a garment rack and drawers for your clothes. The kitchen unit has a fully functioning sink, microwave, hot plate stove, mini fridge, coffee maker, kettle, and all of the utensils you need to cook a small meal at home. The bathroom is brand new with an extra large shower and shampoo, conditioner, soap, and hair dryer. THE POOL The casita overlooks our saltwater pool, hot tub, and backyard. Guests are welcome to use the pool during their stay - we just ask that they communicate with us about when they plan to use it. THE POOL IS NOT ALWAYS AVAILABLE FOR USE. We close it during the winter season and because we live on site, we can't guarantee that you'll have complete privacy while using the pool but we'll do our best to accommodate. THE NEIGHBORHOOD We're located in the 7th ward, a residential neighborhood with lots of walkable cafes, restaurants, shops, and bars. We're a 20 minute walk from the French Quarter and Marigny, with countless restaurant, bar, and music options. We're also a 20 minute walk from City Park which features the New Orleans Museum of Art, Cafe du Monde, and tons of fun outdoor activities. NEIGHBORHOOD VIBES We live in a lively residential neighborhood in the historic seventh ward. Sometimes, our neighborhood is noisy with the sounds of backyard chickens, secondlines, local marching bands and other unexpected delights. While we are used to neighborhood buzz, we understand that this might not be for everyone. We supply earplugs for all of our guests to ensure they can get a good night's rest and we do our best to offer a tranquil stay. Guest access You can access the casita through a side gate in our driveway so you can come and go as you please. Other things to note We live onsite with our two young children, two dogs, and cats. It's likely you'll see some of us coming and going during your stay here. We don't let the dogs out into the yard when we have guests but the kids and the cats may be in the side yard and backyard during your stay. We encourage them to give the guests space and privacy!
