Beautiful historic 1890s large Victorian home with great Mississippi River access, close to parks, downtown Clinton, and dining. You’ll love the original hardwood floors, fully appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. Our house is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with or without kids), or groups. There is a $160 cleaning fee applied to each stay. The space The house has a full functioning kitchen with stove, microwave, and coffeemaker. All dishes are provided. We have a small supply of coffee filters, sugar & sweetener, paper towels, napkins, and dish soap to get you started. There is a high chair in the dining room if you are traveling with a small child. There is also a washer and dryer for your use with a small supply of laundry detergent. Wi-Fi available in the main parts of the house, as well as in the bedrooms. The living room TV has a Fire Stick with most common apps loaded, feel free to bring your own streaming services logins. the bedroom TVs are Samsung smart TV, so have limited channels, but streaming services can be used with them as well. We have a good selection of board games for your use. We have a small room upstairs that has a PS4 gaming system. We have a small selection of PS4 and Nintendo DS games available. The three bedrooms are on the second floor and there is a full bathroom on the second floor as well as a second full bathroom on the first floor. There is a charcoal grill off the deck. If you arrive late and need to get supplies, there is a Hy-Vee grocery store located about 3 blocks away. Guest access Guests will have full access to the first and second floors with the exception of a locked closet under the stairs. Other things to note * PARKING: You can park on the street in front of the house, or in the driveway. if using the driveway, please be considerate and don’t block the front sidewalk. Also please do not park near the garage in back. That parking space is reserved for our tenants that live in the apartment above the garage. Please make sure that you remove any valuables and lock your vehicle. * We love our pets as much as you love yours, however we have to be considerate of future guests with allergy issues, so we must adhere to a No Pet Policy. *Absolutely NO SMOKING or E-CIGARETTES in the house please. An extra cleaning fee will be applied to your total for ANY violation of our smoking policy. * No third party reservations. The person who makes the reservation must stay at the house the entire time. * If you need directions, recommendations, and any other information about Clinton or surrounding area, please let us know. We are happy to provide that.
