The space This professionally managed 2-bedroom apartment is ideal for business travelers, vacationers, or anyone visiting Boston. Conveniently located just outside the main entrance of 402 Columbus Ave, the unit entrance is to the right. Guests will pass through a small gate and down a set of stairs to access the private entrance of the apartment. Thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience, the apartment features two bedrooms with cozy beds, fresh towels and linens upon arrival, and a welcoming living area. Guests will enjoy a full kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, four-burner electric stovetop, oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker—perfect for cooking meals throughout your stay. The kitchen also features an attached island with three high-top chairs, offering a comfortable space for dining or working. The unit includes a Smart TV for streaming your favorite apps and complimentary high-speed WiFi for seamless connectivity. Guests also have access to a beautiful shared outdoor patio, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a bit of fresh air. Important Notes: This unit is located on the ground/lower level of a walk-up building with no elevator. Guests must go down a short flight of stairs to access the entrance. Due to ongoing HVAC issues, our studios are heated with space heaters in the winter and cooled with window AC units in the summer. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the unit. Guest access There is an access code given to each tenant that is needed to enter the front door to the apartment. Parking is not provided at this location. We encourage guests to use public transportation, as Back Bay Station is just an 8-minute walk away. Please also be aware that most street parking nearby is reserved for residents. For added convenience, a coin-operated laundry is available on the first floor of the 402 Columbus Ave building. Please note that to access the washer and dryer, guests will need to exit the apartment, go up the stairs, and enter through the main entrance of 402 Columbus Ave. Machines cost $2.50 per wash and $2.50 per dry. Detergent is not provided, so we recommend bringing your own. Other things to note All requests for early check-in or late check-out are subject to availability and cannot be confirmed more than 24 hours prior to arrival or departure. Approved requests will incur a fee based on the time requested. Unauthorized late check-outs are subject to an additional fee depending on the time the unit is vacated. As a self-service hotel with no on-site staff, we require all guests to complete a pre-check-in form and submit valid photo identification along with a selfie for verification prior to arrival. This is necessary to ensure the safety and security of all guests. Please note: failure to provide a valid photo ID and matching selfie will result in denied access, and no refund will be issued. Service animals are welcome, provided proper documentation is submitted in advance. We understand guests may occasionally leave personal items behind. We hold any found belongings for 14 days. After that time, unclaimed items will be donated. If you would like your item returned, a $25 handling fee applies, in addition to a pre-paid shipping label that you must provide to ensure proper mailing and to cover staff time. What we provide: We supply all the basics to get you started: a complimentary roll of toilet paper and paper towel, travel-size dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, makeup wipes, a hair dryer, and fresh linens and towels. For longer stays, or if you prefer more frequent linen changes, we recommend bringing an extra set. A linen turnover service is available during your stay for a $25 fee.
