The space You will have nearly half an acre of land to call your own during your stay. It is landscaped with young fruit trees and many tropical plants. Breathe in the unbelievable fragrance of the tropical flowers. Evenings guarantee the spirited sound of a frog serenade and mornings are alive with bird song. Beautiful towering bamboo shelters this spot in privacy. Please enjoy the grounds while respecting the privacy of the guests in the main house on the property. Centrally located between historic Hilo and Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, you will be an easy scenic drive from all East Hawai'i and the whole of the island has to offer, including local attractions such as farmers markets, black sand beaches, waterfalls, and Kilauea crater. A diversity of dining options are nearby in Kea'au (7 miles), Pahoa (8 miles), and Hilo (14 miles). There is a vacation rental on the other side of the property. Aside from a shared driveway, houses are separate and private. It is highly recommend that you have your own transportation while visiting the Big Island. Hawaii is a natural paradise where you are likely to encounter geckos, critters and flying bugs. This is a normal part of life here.
