We do our best to make sure it's clean, comfortable, functional and well stocked to be like a home away from home. It's where we stay whenever we come back to visit Maui now that we live on Oahu where Lisa is from. The tax is mandatory by law for legal vacation rentals in Hawaii. MAXIMUM GUESTS ALLOWED: 6 ADDITIONAL $250 REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT COLLECTED TO INSURE ALL THE KEYS & CONDITION OF THE UNIT. THIS IS SEPARATE FROM THE ROOM TOTAL & WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU 48 HRS AFTER YOU DEPART. 2BR/2BA condo, top floor, corner unit with two parking stalls. It's not a fancy unit, but comfortable and clean, always updated during the slower months whenever possible. Style is maybe contemporary Hawaiian. Both bathrooms have shower/tub. Both bedrooms have a Queen bed & portable A/C units. Living room has a dining set, sofa & chaise lounge, and flat screen TV with Netflix, plus A/C. There are ceiling fans throughout and standing fans too for those hot summer days/nights. Full kitchen includes oven/stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, other appliances, cookware, dishes. There is also a W/D with detergent, dish soap & dishwashing tabs. Whenever possible we use Eco-friendly/safe products. Beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella and a cooler are provided. Sometimes there are boogie boards, floating rafts, etc left by previous guests that you're more than welcome to use but if they are broken I don't replace them. I DO NOT PROVIDE SNORKEL GEAR. Condo has outdoor pool, hot tub & BBQ area plus free assigned parking for one car. This is not a luxury unit with expensive furniture, etc because at first we did have nice stuff in there but things broke, got damaged or went missing faster than we could afford to keep up with. So it is just simply furnished with a few nice pieces added each year and is maintained as best as we can with repairs, renovation & upgrades done to a certain budget that we have set every year. But in 2017 before we moved back to Oahu we did replace the stove/oven, W/D and dishwasher with new appliances. We try our best to make everyone happy & comfortable. And in Dec 2022 we got brand new Queen size Casper Classic mattresses for both beds and a Queen size sofabed. Our 750 sq ft condo is bigger than a hotel room & we have a full kitchen w/ appliances, cookware, dishwasher & everything you need. We have two Queen beds w/ new Casper mattresses bought in Dec 2022 & a sofabed in the living room. The W/D has w/ laundry soap provided. We have Beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella & cooler. The two full bathrooms have starter supplies of toilet paper & toiletries provided, you have to replenish supplies on your own after that. Free reserved parking. The owners are both pretty mellow, lived on Maui for more than 15 years but will be moving to Oahu in summer of 2018 , love the outdoors and have a cute lovable dog, plus a super friendly 7 year old boy & 3 yr old baby girl. We are required by law to have a property manager that resides in Kihei so you will have someone there to help you at all times but Lisa will always be just a phone call, text or email away if you need her for anything as well. It's a private condo so the whole place is yours. South Kihei is a sunny laid back little town with a lot of beautiful and very diverse beaches all in walking distance. This condo is located in the town center so there are lots of cafes, shops, restaurants, bars and open markets all w/in a couple blocks. Wailea & Makena are only minutes away by car. And it's also a good starting point for travels to the rest of the island. After Oct 18th we will have a RAV4 available for rent on TURO to select guests only, who do not plan to go to Hana or Haleakala. We also have a reserved parking stall. There is a bus stop right on the corner. And bike or scooter rentals nearby. ** ITEMS YOU WILL NEED TO BRING/BUY: •Toiletries. There are wash cloths & bath towels, hand towels provided & hand soap. But you will have to bring your own soap, shampoo, lotion, etc. •Toilet paper. The housekeeper will leave starter supplies but you will have to buy your own after that.
